RACE 5

A suspect low level sprint race for 8 G´s. A number of horses dropping in class looks very suspect to me.... Major Merv looks to be the speed.... will press the pace... gets the outside post and shortens up.... can we trust this one.... maybe not...precipitous drop in class is hard to trust. The same can be said about Usurp and Party Mandate....

Dave´s Pacemaker claimed up north is back...He has won twice on this track..... looking to win five in a row and the scary one to fear turning for home. Certified Diamond returns from up north after facing much better.... a player here.

1. Dave´s Pacemaker

Late Pick Four
5th      1
6th   2,4,5
7th   1,6,8,10
8th     3,7

RACE 6
To The Top looks to be the speed here... a sprint 25 G claimer for fillies and mares... To The Top gets the inside post. She will most likely be out on the front end winging. Mitchell trains as Talamo re-rides. Shezbigbroad did not take to the synethetic stuff at Del Mar. She broke her maiden in her debut at this track. She comes back fresh for trainer Mike Puype and look who climbs aboard.. Bejarano....the one to beat if she can catch To The Top. Mama Janka goes from route to sprint...coupled with the fact that she broke her maiden on the dirt at Fairplex. Big Tsimmis gets the rail which has been difficult to win at this meet this year....She does get a speed type race where she can stalk the speed then close with Pedroza taking the call. Somethingabouteri a lightly race five year old. Her debut at two years old was very impressive....Of course her wheels came off but having said this....She has been working out very fast.... coupled with the fact that she loves this surface.... do not sell short as Joy Scott can flat out ride to win this .... my longshot pick.
           1. Shezbigbroad
           2. To The Top
           3. Mama Janka
           Longshot Somethingabouteri

Pick three  Shezbigbroad  (4) with All with 3

RACE 7

A cast of talented Cal.-Breds in this turf allowance sprint race. Dixieland Blues looked very good making a strong move on the rail then kicking clear to win his maiden race by three....He faces winners for the first time and that was not a field of talented monsters he faced..but a good looking win for sure.

The pace scenario looks to be hot and contested early with Swiss Tart, Fire In Excess, Devoted Magic and Letsgetitright all has shown early zip......

If Swiss Tart runs back to his two year old races.... and his last race...He is bred for the turf .....I expect he is back in form and very scary..... double digit odds for him and check out his last work..... fast... trouble is that there is plenty of speed signed up for this down the hill turf sprint..

Moscato should love the cut back in distance.... He has the right style to stalk the speed then relax and kick clear. lot´s to like...

Intuitive Nature had to need his last start after racing last March. He had faced some tough maiden open company races and has run good with Koolnquick almost beating this fast tough horse... expect much better this time around.

1. Intuitive Nature
2. Swiss Tart
3. Dance With Gamble

Pedigree play Starspangled Heat

RACE 8

A modest 30 G maiden at a tricky distance of seven furlongs. The Black is a grinder...no real early speed who drops back to this level getting second.....on paper he looks like a horse to beat.... no mortal lock with his plodder-grinder running style. Patriotic Lion should run better on a dry surface then what he had last time out....wet-fast and got a bad inside post position.... He goes inside to outside.... Papa P B ran a ok debut... He ran like a short breaking slow at the gate. He needed a race under his belt....should like more distance....expect much better! Cherokee Gambler is a interesting win early pedigree having been steadled in his debut. Caesar Dominguez is having a off year.... good trainer with babies.... do not dismiss this one lightly....expect major improvement.

1. The Black
2. Cherokee Gambler
