SUNDAY PLAYS

                                          BANK UPDATE
                                               $1583.00

RACE 1

Sprint for three year old fillies at the claiming price of 32G´s. The lineup includes....

1. One Magical Girl....Rosario shows up for trainer Sadler. The blinkers come off. Drop in class can only help her. Mixed signals.... She gets the short straw the rail!

2. Cha Cha Latte.....Kathy Walsh trains Latte who won on this surface and at this distance....expect better as she can win this race....loves the dirt...checkout Fairplex race.

3. Silver Street....claimed for 20 is in jail to take the class hike... She finished full of run after a horrible trip....

4. Help Me Hanna....bet down in debut at the Gate....then was claimed for 20.... the red hot Talamo rides her...expect better!

5. Tasty Treat....love the pedigree by Forty Niner....she loves the dirt.... she will outrun her odds... I like her.

6. Beautiful Strike...is the speed of the field...might be the short price favorite at post time.

              1. Cha Cha Latte
              2. Beautiful Strike

Pick three  2,6  with  1,5 with 5,6  cost $8.00

RACE 2

A low level sprint race for 10 G´s. The race came up short on speed.....Good Acktress looks to press the pace with Terrify. Terrify trained by a stone cold trainer..a plus is the jockey. Lutess looks to drop again...maybe favorite at post time. She´s Very Rare walked out of the gate breaking 8th... She adds the blinkers to get her more focus on the break . She shortens up and looks to turn the tables on Lutess.

            1. She´s Very Rare
            2. Lutess

Early Pick four  1,5 with 5,6 with 1,6 with 1 and 6

RACE 3

A state restricted maiden special weight turf race at one mile. The race came up with little speed on the front end. Silver Dragon might press the pace. He dualed for the lead then faded to fifth against open weight company. A Little Hot Sauce trained by a old-timer Blake Heap should stalk the pace then close late down at the wire. He is improving big time since switching to the turf. Ashley´s Bambino ran a respectable sprint race finishing third. Bejarano re-rides as he is bred for distance by Unusual Heat.... tab for major improvement. The first time starter by a awesome turf sire Danzig Sweet Elation trained by Paddy Gallagher has drills in the morning time that jump off the page....might need a race.

                1. A Little Hot Sauce
                2. Ashley´s Bambino
                3. Sweet Elation

RACE 4

The San Pedro sprinting at six and a half furlongs for three year olds.

1. Midnight Transfer....Carla Gaines and Rosario team up. He looked awesome on opening day at Santa Anita at this meet. The negative is that he is one the rail---which has not been a good position to be this year. Big Beyer speed figure! But on my watch list.....the scary talented colt....maybe the Run for the Roses!

2. Drill....drops in class for trainer Bob Baffert. He broke his maiden on synthetic´´s at Del Mar then beat Mejestic City and Creative Cause.... should love the fast pace...then shortens up from route to sprint angle makes him a major player. I thought he was over rated....because he runs better on the synthetic´s then the dirt.

3. Coach Sickie....He beat a modest field in his maiden race....then dualed pressing the pace in the Gold Nugget....will be pressing the pace again with other´s.

4. Let´s Get Crankin.....I like the pedigree ...gets the acid test on class but having said this....has a shot....will be overlooked at the betting windows.

5. Passing Game .....game son of Danzig who is improving.... has a shot to outrun his odds with a hustling jockey....He has the perfect style ....a excellent turn of foot.... He beat Sir Beaufort winner Chips All In at the Gate...

6. Got Even....another three year old trained by Peter Miller... He looked good beating state restricted stake runners...like Midnight Transfer over Got Even...

RACE 5

A 50 G maiden route race at one mile. Night Teller a blueblood pedigree drops in class and run long. She is a player. Baffert hikes up Belle´s Fantasy to 50 G´s after a respectable second race.... She should love the distance if there is pace to run at. Baffert also sends out a live first time starter Lady Ten... a hard distance to win at first time out. But having said this...no real monsters in this field of maidens. Freckles Galore... I really like this pedigree.... by the sire of Awesome Gambler and Gilded Time..... do not dismiss.... will light up the tote board...

              1. Night Teller
              2. Belle´s Fantasy
              3. Lady Ten

RACE 6

I have been picking Quintons Destiny after I saw him breaking his maiden at Hollywood Park in June. He has been a major underacheiver. Today with Mitchell and Rosario teaming up he will most likely be a short odds pick. He should stalk the speed in a race filled with speed.

Late Pick Four
6th       1
7th     1,8
8th    4,6,8
9th   4,5,13,14

Cost $12.00

RACE 7

A tricky distance at one mile and a eighth on the turf for the claiming price of 25 G´s. This might be the hardest race to land on a horse you can trust. Porfido I picked last time out....this ten year old was flying late to get collared by Bud I Crushed It....Tab right back as Bejarando rerides....Sir Bell is another tough old dude at this level who is game....

RACE 8

The La Grande Grade 2 stakes race for four year old fillies at the distance of one mile and a sixteenth. Here is the lineup...

1. May Day Rose....got smoked running on the lead in the La Brea last time out for Bob Baffert. She will be winging out front. My concern is the distance limitations!

2. Lovetheway Youare... She has had a hard time breaking cleanly at the gate in Stake races.... needs to clear cleanly....then sit ..... and learn how to relax before kicking it in to another gear. Starting to look like a morning glory..check out her excellent morning works...needs to transfer these works to the afternoon.

4. Great Hot....a good looking game filly trained by AC.... should again be kicking clear turning for home....Contender!

6. Include Me Out....Trained by Ellis.... a filly that looks to stretch out in distance...looks like she will love the distance...A filly by Broad Brush that loves the dirt....go figure. Ellis and Talamo team up... Horse is on my watch list. Do not sell short!

7. Capital Plan....She gets the test in class and switches surfaces....seeking her third straight win.... Bejarano rides as Roario goes to the outside filly. Too many unknowns for me.

8. Tiz Flirtatious.... Rosario takes the call. She has been perfect so far....... the one to fear....!

           1. Tiz Flirtatious
           2. Great Hot
           3. Include Me Out

RACE 9

A maiden sprint for 20 G´s end´s this weeks card....tough race here. Jim´s Decision trained by Vladimir Cerin drops in class after facing better. He has two back to back seconds in his belt. Salty Robbins lost a heartbreaker in October over this track... he warrants respect. Baffert sends out Indian Knight who ha a horrible start last tome out...expect much better with a clean break....tough race as Broken Glass comes in fresh with scary works under tow.
