SATURDAY SANTA ANITA

                                 BANK $470.95
                                     WEEK 2

Take Note...Wet track...leaving the main track in a sealed condition....and the third race which is still on the turf...the condition is soft to yielding......Hmm.....

RACE 1

The pace looks to have Stormin Proud Papa  pressing a fast pace.... If the track is wet...then He gets another star.....for the win. Rosario rides him.... come catch as Mike Mitchell has him cranked up for a big performance. Chinese Praise has the highest speed figures in this race. He has faced much better company then these....coupled with the fact that he likes this track. A player! Preferred Mandate another speedy horse so he is a player!

               1. Stormin Proud Papa
               2. Chinese Praise

$20 Win and Place on (7)

Daily Double (7) with (1)

RACE 2

A state bred filly maiden sprint race that  Peter Miller sends out two fillies... Babyneedsnewshoes and Strawberry Route.  Rosario rides Babyneedsnewshoes who ran a respectable debut...expect big performance with JR riding. My pedigree pick is is the first time starter by Swiss Yolder......Poppy Field...should love the off track for Harrington...

               1. Babyneedsnewshoes

               FTS pedigree play Poppy Fields

$20 win,place,show on (1)

Pick Four   1 with  1,7,8 with 3,9,10 with 2,3,8

Cost $13.50

UPDATE PICK FOUR PAID $806.30

RACE 3

The Megaherz one mile on the turf for fillies and mares. Wild Mia looks scary. She has the perfect tighter and with her two excellent works under tow looms large for the win. I like Vamo A Galupiar..... backclass as Drysdale has her cranked up for a big performance with Talamo riding....do not dismiss!

            1. Wild Mia
            2. Vamo A Galupiar
            3. Imperislastic Diva

$20 Place and Show on (7)

RACE 4

A tough maiden 30 G sprint race.  Dream Caught looks spotted for action but mixed signals as Rosario rides Pulpit´s Express for trainer Mike Mitchell. As I have said all week long Mitchell is red hot with second time starters...Patriotic Lion takes the big class drop in class...coupled with the fact that he goes from route to sprint with speed....A major player! First time starter Best Be Gone looks like a runner to me. I like the win early pedigree and long works on him..

             1. Best Be Gone
             2. Patriotic Lion
             3. Pulpit´s Express

$20 place and show (10)

RACE 5

The race is off the turf.... Valley Cat at six to one is a good value bet....improving and sharp....has current form in tow. Joy Boy has back class after running some huge performances in 2010.... He was on my watch list as a two year old..... He seems to be waking up for trainer Brian Koriner..... Talamo is also waking up.

              1. Valley Cat
              2. Joy Boy
              3. Lord´s Minister

$20 Across the board on Valley Cat

Ex Box with the three

RACE 6

A talented field of three year old maidens routing on the main track. A tough race! Bob Baffert sends out two Lasso and Castaway.... Sadler sends out Holy Candy who got beat by Empire Way... He stretches out to two turns....a major player. Fleet Eagle should love the added distance...check out his last race where he almost beat Out Of Bounds.... we know what he did...He stepped up and won a stake race on this track...I like him...because he looks to be improving....has current form!

             1. Fleet Eagle
             2. Holy Candy
             3. Lasso

$20 place,show  (9)

Pick 4     2,8,9 with 3,4,6 with 5,7,8 with 9

Cost $13.50

RACE 7

Iám taking the speed... Stu´s Gone Wild.... trainer is cold ....really never have like this trainer but I do like the hustling jockey on Stu´s Gone Wild. So I will take a stab in this low level one mile race that lacks any speed up front.... a longshot pick at 20 to 1. Another live longshot that will be overlooked in this suspect race is Rummysecretwar.... Warren stretches him out today....should outrun his odds!

                   1. Stu´s Gone Wild.....speed
                   2. Rummysecretwar...stretches out!
                   3. Miles Heir....the dropper with Rosario

Across the board on Stu´s Gone Wild if 20 to 1 or higher

Late Pick Three     3,4,6 with 5,7,8 with 9

UPDATE PICK THREE PAID $153.40

RACE 8

The Palos Verdes Grade 2 sprint on the main track. The lineup includes....

1. M One Rifle....Love this dude in 09 when he won the Grade 1 Malibu.... better on synthetic stuff....switches to the dirt today after finishing third in a Grade 3 race at the Wood.

3. Galiento.....get the test on class...but he is looking for the hat trick today.... At Parx....this dude won by 10 lengths....then on the dirt at Churchill...he won again....

4. Mensa Heat....has a look here after winning the On Trust Handicap at Hollywood.... He ran behind Amazombie in the Grade 1 Ancient Title.

5. Frumious....love this guy as he is on my watch list...good betting odds with this guy.... He is razor sharp  ...looked awesome winning at Hollywood....then step up a won again.... big speed figure....the speed monkeys will hammer this one!

7. Courtside...boy looked awesome in the California Cup Sprint....very fast time and check out his Jan 15th workout....five furlongs in 58 and change....beware! O another thing. He likes the wet surface....

8. Euroears.... I watch him at Del Mar beat Smiling Tiger that Saturday.... Baffert had him cranked up.... He wired the field. I hope at post time the track is wet.....

                    1. Euroears
                    2. Courtside
                    3. Frumious

RACE 9

I like the Pulpit-Bertrando gelding stretching out to one mile. He is trained by Mike Puype.... Look who shows up...Mike Smith.. High percentage trainer and jockey combo...

               1. Go To The Pulpit

$20 across the board on (9)
