UNCLE SAM R.I.P. |
We will miss you Uncle Sam..... as he died last week training...... what he loved to do....!
Trainer and good guy!..... Lewis Cenicola succumbed to cancer..... One of the bright lights in racing..... was well liked and honest...... He will be miss .....by all.....
R.I.P. Lewis Cenicola
Please write if you would like the full card for this week.... I accept Pay Pal........ surfdog88@yahoo.com
San Pasqual Stakes Triple AAA Ranch homebred Uh Oh Bango kicked clear turning for home and won beating Tres Borrachos and company.
Out Of Bounds won the Sham Stakes to pick up his first stakes win for trainer Eoin Harty.....the well bred colt of Discreet Cat was ridden by Garrett Gomez.
In the Daytona Stakes Caracortado mowed down the field.... late and I mean late....awesome looking ride by Bejarano down the hill......
Horse to watch and horses on the rise...... Sir Allison trained by Bob Baffert dropped down to the claiming ranks..... won and for Baffert he was lucky this one was not claimed.
As you have read on my blog.... Swirls has won two straight... I have picked her in two straight....this daughter of Leroidesanimaux should climb the class ladder again.
Baffert again has a big player in D´Pendable who clear the field early and never looked back......... a big awesome looking sprinter.
Eden´s Moon beat up on a modest field but having said that....... tab for the climb in the class ladder. EDEN'S MOON, second at odds-on in her career debut to big-fig winner Reneesgotzip, found the winner's circle in her second lifetime appearance for Bob Baffert. Bought back for $110,000 last February before selling for $390,000 in May, Eden's Moon is by Malibu Moon out of a turf-winning half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Paradise Creek, Grade 1 winner Forbidden Apple, multiple Grade 2 winner Wild Event and stakes-winner I'm Very Irish. Making her first start on dirt, and her first start around two turns, Eden's Moon won by 11 1/2 lengths, completed the mile in 1:36.75 and received an 88 Beyer. She looks like an Oaks prospect.
Horses to bet next time....... take a long look at Longview Drive who in the Sham only missed by a length to the favorite Magic Circle and the winner Out Of Bounds.....tab for major improvment...
Welter Weight trained by Steve Asmussen this one million dollar yearling lost to a very game horse and should improve around two turns....
Ez Effort lost a heartbreaker.........was seven clear ....great looking debut.....tab for a win next time out.
