1. Summer Song...like the Roar pedigree but did not run down the hill last start because it looked like a prep to me going long.... She might be overlooked at the window today. . She has backclass and speed figures to win this race. She ran huge in Canada....


2. Bwana Babe...Steve Asmussen sends out this mare that has been off for two months...comes in fresh. She has a very good career.... which makes her a player for the win.She looks like the controlling speed under Nakatani.

3. Derby Memo.....hard to like this one...one win out of 17 starts.....minor award if any.


4. Miss Radiance....scratch last weekend to run here....She almost beat Zazu in her debut.... excellent pedigree Is It True by War Chant..... Mike Puype trains as David rides..... scary works under tow.... have to beat her to win this race.


5. Screaming Regal......A classy Calbred that looks to be Miss Radiance main rival....second race after layoff...and last race looked like a prep race setting up for this start.


6. Ambitoness.........A classy mid pack closer that wins her share of races....very game from off the pace...


7. Hedi Marie.....This Rockport Harbour filly switches to the main track after racing on turf. She is talented and comes in fresh...Rosario knows her well as she faces winners for the first time. Remember it took a long time to break her maiden....but horses are like this.....once they win... they seem to improve big time..... Rosario stays on her...will be bet down.

RACE 8      MAIDEN CLAIMER 20 G´S  FILLIES AND MARES



My Miss Megan ran a respectable debut facing better.....She press the pace three quarters of the race before fading to fourth. Pedroza rode her in her debut..... He re-rides her again today.... A contender. Warren´s Performer dropped to this level after routing in maiden special weight races... She was fast pressing the pace from gate to wire. She should improve again.
Art Sherman sends out Creston´s Cutie who should relish the added distance.... Rosario rerides her after getting second last time out...Player! A first time starter jumps off the charts here with a excellent pedigree and works....Magdalena´s Song her mother is out of Phone Trick.....bred for speed....the sire is Unbridled Song a excellent win early sire.....Hector Palmer is not known as a trainer to fire first time out...but he can.... this looks to be a first time starter that looks like a runner to me.... Check out the March 11th work....five furlongs at 58-4... second out of 58 horses that day...hmm...as a three year old...did not get her to the track till four...no really monsters in this field. Oh yea the bug boy with a weight break climbs on.... should get double digit odds...value bet maybe.. Check out during prerace warm up before unloading.
