RACE 1
A maiden special weight sprint for four year olds and up. Sassy Suances pressed a fast pace before fading to third...a good debut in a highly regarded maiden race where Tiz Firtatious won then stepped up a won a stakes race. A first time starter Abella by Alydar looks like a live runner to me..... Hustling rider from the gate sign´s up for Bell.
1. Sassy Suances
Daily Double 6 with 2
RACE 2
A field of fillies and mares in this starter allowance race. Ry Cheer smoked a cheap maiden race beating To The Top who won her maiden race last week. Ziva had a trouble trip and dispite the horrible trip won.... do not sell short.... she is talented! Mike Mitchell sends out Lil Miss Macky who exits a good looking maiden win..... She is improving! Tab for a big performance. She has the pedigree by Grey Memo to be overlooked.
1. Lil Miss Macky
2. Ziva
3. Ry Cheer
RACE 3
Treacherous by Ghostzapper gets on the turf for the first time. Frenemy switches to the turf which makes him a player . Cloud Hopper had to need last start after four months off. He should be tighter this time around. The one to beat in this spot. Cat´s Enough has speed and stretches out to two turns.
1. Cloud Hopper
2. Cat´s Enough
3. Frenemy
Let´s see...it looks like there might value in the Pick Three....the second and third leg looks very wide open to me.
3rd 2,6
4th 2,3,6
5th 1,2,7 cost $18.00
RACE 4
A low level maiden sprint for fillies and mares. The pace scenario is void of any sprint speed. Jack Carava sends out Annie Lou who looks like a plodder to me. Rosario shows up...Both Game Charmer and Miss Bold Topper should show the way early. Argue My Case takes off the blinkers. She should be flying late down the lane. I expect she will stalk the pace then kick clear.
1. Argue My Case
2. Miss Bold Topper
3. Game Charmer
RACE 5
A Calbred NIX optional claimer sprinting on the main track. The speed looks to be Los Bomberos. Memphis a horse on my watch list as I picked him to win in his debut at double digit odds. He in fact did win his debut. He had to need last start as he should get a good fast pace to run at down the lane. Full Instinct faces winners for the first time....but he is talented and exits three excellent races...He should get a good trip right behind Los Bomberos. Runaway Bandido trained by Hendrick´s should get a excellent run from off the pace. He has run with some talented horses.... do not dismiss as Victor takes the call........ Victor has been red hot of late getting three wins yesterday.
1. Full Instinct
2. Memphis
3. Sammys A Running
Longshot play Runaway Bandido
RACE 6
A turf claiming sprint race. Mitchell claimed Mr. Bossy Pants who should get a good trip right behind the speed. He has won three of his last four races. The horse to beat! The speed looks to be Wall Street Wonder who changed barns from Baffert to O´Neil. Winston Charm comes in fresh and live after three months off. He has won at this level before. Cardiff Giant claimed by West is first off the claim by a trainer that has a high percentage of wins.
1. Mr. Bossy Pant
2. Winston Charm
Late P4 2,5 with 8,9,10 with 3,4,5 with 2,8
Cost $18
RACE 7
A maiden special weight sprint for three year olds. A number of talented three year olds which look like contenders and very few pretenders in this maiden race. Baffert sends out two well bred colts....Eaton Hall....and Bodemeister....by Empire Maker looks like runners to me. Mark Glatt sends out Canuletmedowneays.....get Rosario with a fast bullet under tow. Immacluate by Distored Humor should be ready to rock and roll....might get overlooked by the public. Check tote for more clues....... John Bully´s Bob pressed a fast pace before fading..... expect much better second time around. American Act got beat by Bing Cha Bing but beat J Man by two....Akey maiden race and well regarded. I like him today. He has speed and more importantly experience that the first time starters do not have.
1. American Act
2. Eton Hall
3. Bodemister
RACE 8
The feature holiday race is the San Gabriel Grade 2 turf affair at the distance of one mile and a eighth. The pace looks somewhat slow on paper.
1. Jeranimo...looked awesome in Citation
2. Norvsky.....should love this distance
3.The Usual Q.T...wish it was a mile!
RACE 9
Wide open non winners of two... but having said this it is hard to trust anyone in this spot. Creston Cowboy gets the leading rider and should stalk the speed....which looks to be Lana´s Smile who moves back inside.
1. Lana´s Smile
2. Creston Cowboy
Longshot dirt play
Breakmark.....likes the dirt
