SUNDAY HOLLYWOOD

RACE 1

A turf sprint for the claiming price of 25 G´s in Sunday´s opener. The speed looks to have both Kiss My Swiss and comebacker Russian River pressing a contested pace. Mitchell has been red hot this week with his barn. Russian River is coming off a long layoff. I expect she should get a perfect trip right behind the speedy Kiss My Swiss. Maya Angelina trained by Ellis had to need her last after a very long layoff......She got  third behind Brown Is Beige who was scratch during pre race warm up two days ago. Entabeni should get a good jump sitting behind the pace. She might be good enough to win with Victor who knows her well.

                  1. Russian River
                  2. Entabeni

RACE 2

A 16 G sprint for three year olds on the main cushion track. A small field with no sprint speed except Polly´s Dancer. Polly´s Dancer´s best races have come at this track. Michael Pender barn is heating up. Martin Pedroza a fast gate jockey I expect will try to steal this race on the front-end. Mentidoso should be stalking Polly´s Dancer from the get-go. He is sharp and in-form and looks to be the horse to beat. Orbach is another horse with a solid current form. He should be sitting and chillin behind the speed. Bejarano rides this major contender. Edgewick Road a classic hanger and a head case....He will be doing his usual fly by down the lane. He fits with these.

                       Value Bet Polly´s Dancer

              1. Orbach
              2. Mentidoso
              3. Edgewick Road

RACE 3

A maiden special weight route on the turf. In a race with little speed Heidi Maria has gas and the rail. She has only raced two races on the turf out of her 11 career starts.....better on the turf.

              1. Let´s Go Cheyenne
              2. Heidi Maria
              3. Passionbabypassion

RACE 4

Achak drops again after finishing second facing better. He likes this track and is in current form. Bejarano re-rides this favorite. This race looks suspect to me with a number of horses dropping in price. They Call Him El drops below his claiming price...... warrants respect but they do not give away money... Jairziho gets the rail and the red hot Mitchell drops him down in class. He has never run this low of a claiming race before. Talamo and Mitchell are hot! The last time Big Wags won was at this track and moreover at this level. He is a different horse at Hollywood......... will show speed here. I like Pode Ir trained by AC.... and Chantel rides this six to one morning line ...very live semi-longshot.

               1. Pode Ir
               2. Adrictic Moon
               3. Achak

RACE 5

Unstopper Toppper will press the pace. But the pedigree suggest that he is a sprinter. Victory Cup flew at the wire in his second route race last time out. He is strictly the horse to beat. Perfect Envoy might outrun his odds....has a real shot to hit the board here.

               1. Victory Cup
               2. A Little Hot Sauce

              Longshot Perfect Envoy

RACE 6

A route maiden special weight race for two year old fillies.
Let´s take the new face..... Ewing a new trainer was the asst. to Hess Jr. and the shipper from Keenland who fly at the wire in her debut.

                   Longshot Bet  Insincerity

Late Pick 4

6th     3,4,5
7th    1,2,3,4
8th     6,7,8
9th        8              cost $16.00

RACE 7

Indian Firewater is sharp after a good race at the beach. Baffert has him firing bullets in the morning time. Tab for the money run here.

               1. Indian Firewater
               2. Comma To The Top
               3. Canonize

Pick Three   1,2,3,4 with 3,6,7,8 with 8 cost $24

RACE 8

The Cat´s Cradle at seven and half furlongs on the cushion track. Excellent News loves this track....looks like Baffert has two live horses in this race with the other horse Salty Sarah who has speed...... does not give up....

                1. Salty Sarah
                2. Excellent News
                3. Lady Railrider

RACE 9

A very modest field of maidens ends this week of racing at the wood. Someone has to win this.......hmm..... Argue My Case should like this distance for trainer Cerin.... Victor rides this plodder..... Golden Touch Of Gin ran a good looking  second in her debut........... warrants respect with this group... Lovely Spohia lures Bejarano.....Satin Bouquet trained by Sadler has to need her last start..... She has shown speed before her last race.  Our Bonita takes off the blinkers after being steadied twice........ She is the only filly with speed............ I like this one to steal this race pressing the pace.... Plus she gets weight off...

                1. Our Bonita
