RACE 2

A sprint race for fillies and mare non winners of two. Lily Amore looks very scary dropping into non winners of two. Her only win came at this track. Rosario has been riding lights out at Hollywood....... tab for her smasher today. No real value in the win pools. The value might be Dislittleliteofmine a head case for sure..... but switches back to the cushion track after a long lay off. She just might get second or third at 30 to 1....

RACE 3

A real tough race sprinting on the cushion track for 25 G´s. A small six horse field in which each and every horse has a legitimate show to win. Cardiff Gaint has never race this low. His works suggest that he will fire fast after taking two months off. Bejarano rerides this dude from a cozy outside post position. Daylight Storm is three to 1 on the morning line....He has been off for more then one year.....rare to see odds that low with combackers........ He loves this track. Usurp is another comebacker who´s four wins have come at this track. He is a game tough dude when right. Slam Slew might be the speed here.....or tactical speed..... looms large as he almost beat Cardiff at Del Mar coming back after 10 months off.

RACE 4


Tax Cut has the turf pedigree to upset this field. Neil Drysdale puts Berrios on this Rock Hard Ten gelding. I replayed the dirt race with Mon Coeur ran.....yes its with cheaper and on the dirt but he looked and finish full of run.... He will be overlooked at the betting windows but I like him.

RACE 5

Obsess likes this cushion track.... as his last morning work is very fast.....He is razor sharp right now. It´s Not Usual trained by Hendrick´s looks like will come back running after more then a year off. His works are fast and longs....beware.... he must clear from the rail. Don Perico another comebacker who lures Rosario to ride..... beware! Bailmeoutbugsy another comebacker who is perfect and lures Gomez..... This is a good betting race ......... if Obess hangs down the lane then a number of talented horses might surprise and light up the tote board. Clear is talented but Rosario jumps off and goes to Don P...hmm....

RACE 6

Guiding Hand the eight year old looks to improve with a race under his belt for Chambers. Joe Carl loves this track having hit the board 8 out of 9 races at the Wood. At one time Sky´squickscore press the pace.... in other words .... He had speed and tactical speed.... He is stretching out in distance where he is a better router then sprinter.... I like him today. Buyer´s Remorse is stretching out which he should love..... gets class help with weight off......at this level he should show up.... beware!

RACE 7

A seven furlong maiden special weight race with a number of talented two year olds. Out Of Bounds ran into So Brilliant in his debut. He broke a tag slowly coming out of the gates..... Bejarano rerides as he has two bullet works after his debut. He should be tighter second time around. Bob Baffert sends out Brannaman by Ghostzipper. His debut was not much after bettors made him the favorite. I expect we will see a better performance after Baffert has worked him three more times after his debut. Rocket Train sire hits at a unreal 32% first time out. Mitchell is excellent with first time starters.... Talamo rides...beware! Peter Miller sents out Time To Doubledown....great win early pedigree and very strong fast works..........lookout! Shy Humor was beaten by Heart Fever who ran a good race yesterday.... He might be a very talented baby.

RACE 8

Holladay Road is one tough dude who shows up big time in each and every one of his races. He lost a heartbreaker to Novsky in teh Cal Cup Classic. Gab Power is anothe tough dude who chased home War Element the real deal.... He has been freshen up for this race. Rosario rides. A horse that I have on my watch list because of the equipment change of blinkers on is King Ledley......... a competely different horse......... He should like the added distance here with Stra riding him....... My longshot play here.

RACE 9

The Grade 1 Hollywood Scarlet for two year olds fillies. The lineup includes.....




1. Weemissfrankie.......trained by Peter Eurton. She is after her third grade one win of this year. She is one one to fear down the lane. Her and Self Preservation are coming off a third and fourth place finish in the Breeders´Cup Juvenile....... maybe a classic bounce..... fun to bet and watch.






2. Charm The Maker.....I bet her in the Oak Leaf. It was her first race going around two turns......Weemissfrankie already routed before. She was four wide turning for home then lugged in at the wire....she was green..... with that in mine I like her in this race. Her last race was awesome because she was taken back off a very slow pace and it something that is hard to do with young horses..... close from off the pace to win with a slow easy pace to deal with.






3. Lady Pecan.....is trained by Bob Baffert...... in the Sharp Cat where Charm The Maker won she got fourth. She is winless in three stake races......she talented but I will side with other´s.



4. Killer Grace.... I think she is very talented as she got second in the Sharp Cat Stakes...... she got collared down the lane....look she won in the Cinderella and Landaluce stakes this year. Her seven starts she has two wins and two seconds..... beware!


7. Mi Vida.......... still a talented maiden looking for her first win.... gets the acid test with theses gals.


6. Self Preservation.....returns to the cushion track today. She has a great turn of foot down the lane..... as her jockey will try to sit chillin on her then ask her to finish strong with her strong turn of foot.

RACE 10

A sprint for maiden´s at the bottom level with a modest bunch. Fear The Beard on October second finish second for 40 G´s. He then tried routing..... got second again...... He most likely is better suited for this distance. War Politics a horse I bet did not like the class hike or turf. He is a contender in this race. Skip Tony returns after a layoff and being gelded.... major equipment change..... should move forward here. Swiss Game gets Rosario..... maybe this time around.
