The start of the carryover in the Pick Five closing day for the 2010 season at Hollywood Park.

Mitchell is pulling the right strings at this meet.  Chocolate Caliente press a fast pace coming back after six month layoff facing better. The drop today for her makes her the major contender. March Mary is razor sharp..... Mulhall claimed her back.... For You My Heart pressed a fast pace up north at the Gate...She was claimed by Hess Jr....warrants respect with these. Hess takes off the blinkers as Bejarano climbs aboard. Hess sends out another filly So Tempted....who is seeking her proper level.... She drops in class with speed.......as Gomez rides her.

RACE 2

Willyconker looks like he is coming into his own with  a wire job then a off the pace win for 40 G´s. I like the class hike by O´Neil. Smarty Tamarack drops to a proper level with a good morning work at Santa Anita that makes him a major contender. Time Goes By  is again knocking at the door.....has back class to win. Where´s The Remote we have not seen since the first of the year. He has ran with some of the West Coast best turf horses.......look out if fit......Talamo climbs aboard for his comeback race with long works which I like to see........He looks ready to fire off the bench.

RACE 3

Congratulation for Baffert for winning the Cash Call. He sends out a daighter of Malibu Moon.... Eden´s Moon who has fast quick long morning works under tow....watch out!

Her main rival looks to be the filly that is dropping in class Chloe W after two stakes races........ she back with friends... Rosario rides. Mitchell sends out Miss Communcations who has a win early pedigree. Reneesgotzip is bred for speed by Carson City....... do not sell her short for Peter Miller.... good long works with Corey N. riding.

RACE 4

Russian River is seeking her fourth straight victory. She goes from the outside to the inside stretching out to one mile. River is sharp.....and in a small field holds the aces. Her main top rivals look to be both Party With Brando....a slight head case....with Hameildame........who looks to turn the table on Russian River. Vikkilee a classic herd horse that does not want to pass horses down the lane........ gets Rosario....maybe he can do the trick.

RACE 5

The start of the carry over in the pick six. Dean Pederson a under rated trainer sends out Atta Boy Pete who claimed him fro Jeff Bonde last start at the gate. He hikes him up in class with is a good sign to see. Rosario seems fit to ride Pete. I Will Follow looked very good beating up on maidens....... I see no reason why he cannot win this race. He fits with pedigree and speed figures. Art Shermans son sends out a shipper Gotham Knights that Bejarano seems fit to ride.... This Gotham City colt looks very scary here. He seems to improve each and every race. I like the horse on my watch list Joyzey Billy...back class coupled with the fact that she runs better on this surface....she broke her maiden debut here.

RACE 6

Today just might be the race with a modest field of maidens that Alala gets her maiden diploma. She adds the blinkers with the fact that this looks spotted for action as she gets the rail.

The pace scenario looks to have Luckyvic press the pace with Alala not far behind. Pretty Much should stalk the pace. She is stretching out for Sam Semkin..... look out ....a contender. Rolling Tide goes from dirt to turf after a good looking race at Fairplex. Look, if she runs back to her debut last year....she might be the scary new horse in this race.

RACE 7

A suspect field.....void of any speed except Bigbari....who looked good winning last month. On paper Arresting Officier is the one to beat. He is wheeled back quick with a big drop in class can only help....short price no value bet in the win pools. Nuclear Missile is improving..... He needs to break cleanly but beware as Bejarano rides.... His Boy Elroy has been smoking fast in the morning time for his comebacker today...... He has back class and a deadly trainer and jockey combo to make him a contender.

RACE 8

High Test is very talented as he broke his maiden last race. He faces winners for the first time but can surely be up to this test. Industry Leader ran into Fast Bullet last start. He too looks every bit a horse that can win........ any improvement puts him in the winners circle. A big race after a ten month lay off...might hint of a classic bounce..but check out the bullet workout...beware. A stretch and longshot is Dean Pederson horse comin goff a year long layoff....Battle Lou...who at the gate in his debut broke slowly from the rail then rallied to win with a strong speed figure..... longshot look with strong turf pedigree from off the pace.

RACE 9

The On Trust Handicap at the distance of seven and half furlongs on the main track wraps up the closing day feature race. Mensa Heat draw a line though his last race in the Cal Cup because he walked out of the gate.... I expect much better today. Mark The Bench was claimed by Mitchell.... so  expect better then what it appears on paper...wheels this dude back quickly..... Red Defense .......does not run a bad race...He jumps out on the past performance as the scary horse to win this non graded handicap race. Chiliquin trained by Hansen looks sharp...he beat Courtside and Luckrack... I like him because I think he is better on the surfaces at Hollywood then Santa Anita where Courtside beat him.

Thanks for visiting my blog for this year.......... last race for the season of 2010 at Hollywood Park....let´s see if we can get a winner....

Scream Queen drops in class after a close third with much better company...The class drop might do the trick. Mitchell sends out his even money favorite in his debut that layed a egg... Talamo rides...She should move forward after all the money that was burned up on her in her debut. As for first timers.... Too Many Time by Michael Ewing hires Chantel to rides...She looks like a runner to me....but I like the sire of Animal Kingdom......Demonsterous...... Eric sneds out the first time starter....with a early live win early pedigree....

Scream Queen looks like the horse to beat with the drop in class... Mitchell second time starter looks very live..... and Warren´s Morgan gets the rail.... a major player... but I like Demonsterous to fire big time here.
