A sprint on the turf for maidens special weight foes.... Getting Lucky looks to be the speed if there is no first time monsters in the field. Both Shy Humor and Carol's Legacy exits the same debut........both take a class hike and try the turf for the first time. The is a number of well bred first time starters....starting with Mandella's horse Cee Tizzy colt Grumpy's Pick.....when Bejarano rides a Mandella first time starter there are live...so beware!! A Day Away looks live on the outside post Victor taking the call. Royal Alexander just might outrun his odds.....well bred and wins early too!

Fast Bullet looked awesome crushing his opponents first time out for Baffert. Clear was a debut winner beating Surplus who came back and won. A son of Street Cry Wall Dance has the pedigree to step up and make a big impact here.

I like how Hard To Resist won at Del Mar....She takes a class hike but she is improving a very talented...... comes in fresh in this spot. Mike Smith rides Wild Rose who should relish this one mile distance....Rose is better at one mile.

A 30 G maiden sprint on the cushion track looks to be a fairly wide open affair. Gannius might be the speed as Patrick will send him to the front end. He drops slightly after facing state restricted. Harrington sends out Swiss Game by Swiss Yolder who should be on the upswing and in form as Rosario gets the call on the improving colt. He might be the favorite at post time. Warren's Wasco Son a first time starter looks like a runner with solid works in the morning time. Pedroza is a plus as he will get this dude out fast. The Bein's Gift should improve here..... warrants respect as Talamo re-rides him.

Senior Rain might be the speed in the Real Quiet for two year olds....Rousing Sermon is one game son of Pulpit. He is very talented and improving...... beware! Bob Baffert sends out the maiden winner Liaison who drew out at seven panals..... He did not beat much but looked awesome smoking this maiden field. Captain Obvious stretches out to two turns. He won in Ireland on a surface like this track. A Plus is that Rosario rides him today. I love the pedigree of Tiz Point trained by Mandella..... He can get the distance and should relish the switch to the main track..... do not sell this dude short.

The pace looks to be slow early while Senor Rain might just try to steal this race on the front end..... Pace makes the race:

Lasso From El Passo is spotted from action in a race with little speed on the front end.... I expect getting the rail... Espinoza might just send her to a early led.....chillin and relaxing...then ask to her make a final run turning for home.....Nicos Memory ran a race in her debut that looked awesome with all kinds of trouble.... and she won.... a rare performance by a first time starter.......... she warrantes respect here.
