WEDNESDAY FAIRPLEX PARK

Free play of the day is the late Pick Four

RACE 2     FOUR FURLONG MAIDEN 20

A modest field to say the best about these fillies. More Then Happy debut was not that bad then the wheels came off her last three starts. The First time starter Street Rat Crazy trained by Michael Machowsky looks live first time out. I like the win early pedigree with her. Taste Of Joy team up with hot connections of Pedroza and O'Neil. Good connections with solid works....

                1. Street Rat Crazy
                2. Secret Truce

RACE 3     SIX FURLONG STATE BRED MAIDEN 32 G

Saros Secret has speed....drops to collect....the same thing can be said about Rino U....speed on the outside...drops to collect. Change Order needs help so blinkers are added today....drops from facing much better to this modest bunch.....has a shot if the two FTS need a race. Both Mustache Charlie and the sneaky live horse that might be over-looked.....Stormin Arvin trained by David Brenstein.....who can flat out send them fit and ready to fire first time out.

             1.  Saros Secret
             2.  Mustache Charlie

RACE 4     SIX FURLONG CLAIMING 5G's

Start of the carry over in the pick six.

            1. Bev's Ex....expect much better today!
            2. East From West....favorite at post time
            3. Forest Prince

RACE 5     FOUR FURLONG MAIDEN 20

           1. Barbary Coast Girl

RACE 6     SIX FURLONGS TWO YEAR OLD FILLIES

A contentious sprint for fillies. Bold Remark has tactical speed to press the pace or attack chillin behind the rabbits. Purple Thunder on the rail drops in class after pressing the pace half way down the stretch before fading. I expect a better stick in her second start with Pedroza in the irons. She was well bet in her debut. Beware. Dean Pederson sends out Candy And Nuts who goes first off the claim. He is a excellent trainer..... and I expect her to run her best. Bulletgirl drops in class. She has the most experience of this field. She tries the claiming ranks for the very first time. She might just outrun her odds.

A Good value bet is the late Pick Four. No strong standouts in all four races. In race six..... Pedroza has the dropper with speed on the rail. She is horse to beat as the trainer is a very good trainer. Pederson has Candy and Nuts in which she was claimed last time out. I expect she is talented and if Purple Thunder somehow melts down because of the distance then Candy And Nuts can kick clear. Bulletgirl never has raced in a claiming race before. Beware because she does have speed...

               1. Purple Thunder... Come Catch this one
               2. Candy And Nuts

            Longshot Bullet Girl

FREE PLAY OF THE DAY  LATE PICK FOUR

             1,6 with 3,5,7,9,10 with 1,2,5,7 with 4

             1,6,7 with 3 with 1,2,5,7 with 2 and 4

In race seven Unusual Jazz has these horses over a barrel. He will be closing from off the pace. The picture might change if a speed horse gets a easy lead and wires the field. On paper Unusual Jazz looks strong as a favorite. I included four other horses in one Pick Four.

In the feature race..... It looks to have the 2 pressing a fast pace. But he is not the lone speed here.... 1 exits a key high price maiden race at Del Mar for trainer Jeff Bonde who sends out two live horses.... My upsetter is the Unusual Heat horse.... Inquistive Son who looks strong with this group.

In the nightcap I included the favorite Sufi Dancer and Warring Heart who exits better races then Sufi Dancer. Warring Heart claimed last time out does have tactical speed. He should be able to clear stalking the pace.....his does have a touch of a hanger.....a concern.....

RACE 7     SIX AND HALF FURLONG CLAIMING 5

Lime Rock Revenge drops in class for trainer Doug O'Neil while Martin Pedroza takes the call. Three bullet works......one month apart.... Hmmmm! Bold Type has been freshen up. He has speed with back class.... He might get brave being sent to the early lead. The pace scenario has alot of early speed up front. Unusual Jazz should get a perfect trip attacking the speed at the top of the lane. The race sets up for this one. Gold Star trained by Jeff Bonde has the perfect style to close from off the pace. He adds the blinkers for the first time. Brass Plate goes from route to sprint..... If he takes to the bullring he has speed numbers that make him a major contender in this wide open non winners of two. Image And Likeness is fresh after running at Hollywood Park. He has had trouble at the starting gate. He has speed.... He looks like he might just put it together today.... This race looks very suspect to me...San Darino just wins cheap races but is a player here...

               1.   Unusual Jazz
               2.   Image And Likeness
               3.   Lime Rock Revenge

RACE 8     C.B.AFFLERBAUGH STAKES TWO YR. OLD

The lineup includes:

1.  Blacky The Bull....exits a good maiden special weight race with Sweet Swaps and Castaway...... who came back and won. Great workout at Del Mar.... good pedigree with a win early sire and dam..... Expect big things from the rail.

2.  Senor Rain..... Peter Miller sends out Rain who beat a modest field of 40 G maidens..... He has speed which is a asset at this track.

3.  Nemrac.....a FTS out of the mare Sauce Boat who is bred for speed.... good pedigree....will outrun his odds.

4.  Plenny Of Henny.....O'neil and Pedroza team up.... He was well bet in his debut..... showed way because he won first time out.... A contender who has  speed. He stalk the pace the pace then close to win..... do not like the fact that he drifted out in the lane.... a major player who warrants respect.

5.  Inquistive Son..... a son by Unusual Heat who has racing experience.... should close with his running style..... no throw out with this field.

6.  Runstevierun .....trained by O'Neil this son of Steve aWonder Boy....... looking for his first win....

7.  Call Me Kelly....Jeff has two colts in this race. He is still a maiden...but looks very talented..... a player!

8.  Rino.......loved him at Santa Anita last spring......then tried stakes company........drops big time here in class....do not sell short....

           1. Call Me Kelly
           2. Inquistive Son
           3. Blacky The Bull
           4. Senior Rain....include in late pick 4

RACE 9     SIX FURLONG CLAIMING

Sufi Dancer looks sharp coupled with the fact at he has a hint of back class last year. It looks like Warring Heart did not take to the polytrack. His numbers fits with theses.... has tactical speed and the drop will only help. Tribal Teen had to need his last race....showed speed before fading....He should be tighter this time around...a interesting shipper with good odds.

            1. Warring Heart
            2. Sufi Dancer

            Longshot Tribal Teen
