FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT THE FAIR

RACE 2

Pender and Pedroza hook up again....Rolling Tide drops in class for this dash for four furlongs. Red flag the sketchy workouts. Delilah Jones looks to be the fastest out of the starting gate. She comes in fresh with two solid works over the track. Ventress put the blinkers on last year for the first time and showed speed. Mudlark a first time starter looks like a runners by In Excess. She is both bred to win early and bred for speed.

             1. Mudlark
             2. Famous Talent
             3. Rolling Tide with Delilah Jones....favorites

RACE 3

The speed looks to be Ican'tremember who is going for the hat trick.........Come catch at four furlongs...... Joyful Sucess......drops big time and exits the best races. He shortens up with weight off. Serious Form might turn the tables on the top pick. He warrants respect. Dixie's Promise.....love the longshot play........has speed!

                  1. ICan'tremember
                  2. Raptor's Force
                  3. Dixie's Promise

RACE 4

This might be the most contentious maiden race this year at Fairplex with many contenders and few pretenders. I love the pedigree with the first time starter Funny Enough......great looking gate work at Santa Anita. This daughter of Pupit looks very live. The speed is Stealthy trained by Peter Miller. Warren's Lady exits the same race as Stealthy. She goes from outside post to inside. Remember she was the betting favorite in last race at Del Mar. Tiz Heartless by Tiznow did not take to the polytrack. Tiznow filly's usually need acouple under there belt before breaking there maiden. She drops in class.... and has shown speed in her debut. Beware! She got the works and pedigree to win this race.

                1. Tiz Heartless
                2. Funny Enough
                3. Stealthy

RACE 5

Stand Tall might finally have found a field he can beat.....if and I say if....he repeats his last race. High Standards comes on fresh from Turf Paradise....He likes to win races. Pedrozaville rides this one....beware!  Mossad trained by Ellis tabs the blinkers for the first time. A low rent district suspect race in a wide open race if Stand Tall bounces off that big performance in his last race. I like him here but not holding my breathe coming for home.

               1. High Standards
               2. Stand Tall
               3. Mossad

RACE 6

Gambling Cowboy a horse I bet last time has great pedigree but race a horrible debut. I expect better today but the odds will be much lower. Here is Pender and Pedroza again with the same pedigree as Cowboy by Roar...looks very live to me Tasty Treats. Peppy Bolly well bred droppers for Gary Mandella. He gets weight off with solid works. If Ale's Emerald draws in...He has speed over this track... Tony's Pinguini's goes from outside to inside after finishing second....should move forward with cat bird seat....in a puzzler!

                1. Peppy Bolly
                2. Ale's Emerald
                3. Gambling Cowboy

RACE 7

I like the horse I pick to beat maidens last week..... Coastal Cathy looked awesome.......no reason she can't handle these!

                1. Coastal Cathy

RACE 8

Sufi Dancer has a horrible trip as the favorite last time out. He takes off the blinkers...... should improve big time with clean trip and some magic racing luck. High Class Cat had to need last race..........has back class and loves this track.....Beware! More Over Marino gets Pedroza in Pedrozaville. Conclave a under acheiver to say the best about this one....one of these days .....needs a wake up call.  But the good news is that Conclave has speed in a race void of any pure speed..... tell the jockey to send him........ and pray that he can hang-on with double digit odds.....Good bet with exotics.. It's now or never this this old dude.

                1. Conclave
                2. Sufi Dancer
                3. High Class Cat

RACE 9

This race is filled with speed types. Delta Fix smoked a weak field but did it with a big speed number. Remember the horse that finish second to him got beat as the favorite in the last race. He will be the lone speed since all the horses are slower then him but is he good enough to win this....... facing winners for the first time and with a short price I might want to take a stand against......but .....Free Time might dual him for the lead..... if speed dual melts down this pair then the pace sceanrio changes....All On The Table should be stalking right behind Fix.....with Italian Channel..... the only real closer in this field......who might kick clear turning for home...good odds....and a good value bet.

                  1. Italian Channels
                  2. All On The Table
                  3. Free Time

RACE 10

All The Love should be the speed here.....throw out the polytrack race.........Come Catch ...........Her!  Halfapondarosa has been losing some heartbreakers.........David Flores rides her as she is on the improve. Chalulas One is the class of this field and gets the leading rider....but she needs a fast pace to run at and some racing luck on the turns........ might want to take a stand against.........might not. Came West is a sneaky closer who if she does not bounce from that good looking win last time out might be very dangerous down the lane..........speed bias or closing bias at the track......... check out how the closers are doing before unloading......

                 1. All The Love
                 2. Halfapondarosa
                 3. Chalulas One

                Came West longshot

RACE 11

Valuation....... Hmmm looks to good to be true...or maybe a horse that does not want to dug deep... classic hanger at the wire...........short odds again for this third time dropping..... Del Mar Dude looks like a router to me.......should love the added distance today........a weak race with these top two contenders.

                 1. Valuation...now or never
                 2. Del Mar Dude....can flat out win this
