RACE 1

Johm Sadler's first time starter Solar Wind has a win early pedigree to fire first time out of the blocks. Hedia Maria cuts back to a sprint. She press a fast pace then faded...one turn and her closing style fits this track. I expect the first time starter on the outside looks live Tiz Heartless out of the mare Dixieland Band. I like the how Fawless Jewel finish in her last race. I expect she will like Del Mar sprinting on the rail.

        



RACE 2

Photo Shopped just broke his maiden two months ago. He has run with some very talented dudes...... Julio Canani trains as Gomez rides. He has the right stalking style to wait off the pace then strike for home. Fifth Dimension exits a highly regarded last race. He warrants respect for a win. Gatheratthealter is returning after a lay-off as the trainer is hitting with lay off types. He fits.

RACE 3

A modest field of maidens....... as Depth might be the favorite to stalk the pace and close down the lane. Forth William the first time starter is a new face for Mitchell as Talamo rides. Art Sherman adds the blinker on Spicy Beau who I expect will improve in a weak race. Starlight Dancer ran into a buzz saw in his debut. He should improve big time as A. Sword was entered this week in a stakes race.


RACE 4

Richard Mandella has two entries in this turf allowance race. The impressive winner Dynamo and Charm The Crowd. Dynamo if you did not see her race was simply awesome. When she learns to break quickly from the gate...watch out! She did not beat much as both the fillies at got second and third are still maidens. But the way she won was rare to see.

RACE 5

Final Answer was well bet last seen at Del Mar. I like the works couplied with the win early pedigree. Bejarano seems fit to re-ride for a top stable. That's my final answer.

Race 7


A two year old Cal-bred maiden sprint race. Got Even drops out of open straight maiden. He should improve if there are no monster first time starters in the race. Peter Miller trains Already There who ran a respectable third losing by one and half lenghts. My Boy Benjamin loses Bejarano but puts up Mike Smith. I expect he needed that race....has excellent pedigree with solid works.

RACE 8                SAN CLEMENTE

1. Up In Time....shortens up to one mile. Bejarano riding this one. She was not disgraced in the Honeymoon at the wood.

2. Celestial Kitten.....saw her run in a maiden race at Gulfstream Park this year. Then she headed up to New York. She has talent as Rosario rides her. You will get good odds. She did finish second in a stakes race. A player if she likes the firm turf.

3. Fifth Commandment....trained by Cassidy who has two fillies in this race. She goes long and is bred to love the distance of a mile. Her last race she was short coming off a lay-off. I expect she will be tighter this time around....A contender with double digit odds.

4. Bonita Star....She looked good winning her first state side race. She then acted like a herd horse that did not want to pass horses. She does love this distance....better at one mile... a player.

5. Sarah's Secret.....has been perfect..... she has excellent tactical speed..... She has not lost yet. She loves any surface and runs like she loves any surface....that is what talented horses do!

6. Fifth Ave..... Cassidy trains her as well.....Smith rides....Remember she beat Rumor so she is very talented.

7. Great Hot .........looked awesome in her two starts in the states. She has never been on the turf and she has never been racing at this distance. Maybe to short of a price with both of these unknown questions yet to be answered. She is perfect two-for-two.

7. Rosehill Dew....love the odds on her today....... Maybe Blanc can get a do over...  One of the worst rides I have seen this year. I love her in this spot.... she is in form and fit to make a big splash. Great Value at the windows.

9. Mizdirection....is another filly that had a bad trip in her last start. She is ultra talented and scary good if she can get some racing luck. She does go long which is my main concern from the outisde post..... but she is a budding star.

10. Justenufappeal........drew the short straw on the outisde post.  Eddie D own her with others....She is talented but she gets the acid test on class.

RACE 9


This is a tough race to end here but  Sam And Victor have in the past had some high price winner. She has been working up a storm for her comebacker today. Cayala seeking proper level...has the closing style that fits at Del Mar.
