SUNDAY HOLLYWOOD PARK

TWIRLING CANDY IN CALIFORNIA BY DAVID MORANT

RACE 1

The only lone speed in the race is Coo Cachoo. Catch him long gone for Julio Canani. His main rival is the class dropper with back class Achak.

             1. Coo Cachoo
             2. Achak

RACE 2

Ashen is back with claimers after showing speed. He will be out winging on the front-end. Dancing Yolder tab the switch to Rosario. He was five lengths off of the top pick. He needs to step up today~~` Best Logic fits with these...do not sell short. He adds the blinkers. He must clear from the rail. The upsetter is Armenian Star trained by James Lloyd coming back after three months off. Victor rides. His early running style helps his chance.  A first time starter by Harris farms looks live for Dean Peterson.  Yesterday in the 6th race the winner was bred at Harris Farms...

                1. Red Dog.....FTS by Harris Farms
                2. Ashen....drops to collect
                3. Armenian Star

RACE 3

Ninth Infantry the horse I picked to win did in fact win his comeback race. Tab for another peak performance while stepping up in class N2X. Jet Blue Girl looked like she needed her last after finishing a respectable third. She looms large and any improvement will put her in the winner circle. Warren's Jitterbug looks to improve. She can with the ground saving rail. The upsetter is Berg Bahn who drops out of graded company last year. This is her first start for 2011. Her works indicate she is very live here.

          1. Berg Bahn....might be live
          2. Ninth Infantry..... the filly to beat....love this track
          3. Jet Blue Girl..... second race after lay-off
          4. Warren's Jitterbug..... do not sell short

RACE 4

The race scenario has speed of the front end. Cheap speed but at this level speed holds sometimes.  Sipnzin will be out winging on the early faction. One of these days Zin will not stop. Kiss My Swiss drops below claiming price for Carava.... A player b/c he has done this trick before and won. Ms Margaritaville has won two straight victories over at Los Al. She like the Wood so beware.... has gas.... in the trunk.... Forty Dates removes the blinkers....will be stalking the rabbits at five and half furlongs.

RACE 5

Seven panels for maiden's for the claiming price of 20 G's. Detective Poirot will press the pace. Hotstepper should like the added distance. He broke very slow out of the gate in his debut. With a race under his belt he should graudate soon. Tab the switch in jockeys. Bay Rush drops back to the low rent district again. His closing style fits coupled with the added distance makes him a player. Eyesablazin drops in class. He exits a good maiden race where a number of horses have come out of this race and won. I expect with the ground saving rail this Phone Trick colt should show speed along the rail. A major player. You Little Devil exits the race with Free Time who came back and won.....

              1. You Little Devil
              2. Eyesablazin
              3. Detective Poirot
              4. Bay Rush

RACE 6

The pace looks fast and contested on the front end. Uzziah, Bellingham and Lemou will battle it out for position. Guest Star the blueblood by Storm Cat out of a mare by Dynaformer stretches out to one mile. He warrents respect after missing by a head in his second career start.

               1. Guest Star..... winning connections
               2. Bellingham...... Rosario knows him
               3. Lemou..... speed and shortens up....
               4. Romeo Royal

RACE 7

A scramble in the 7th race. Miss Peanut might steal this race on the front end. I like her.....that's my pick.

             1. Miss Peanut.....speed left unchecked is deadly
             2. Desert Flight....Mitchell is red-hot

RACE 8              REDONDO BEACH HANDICAP

If Tanda trained by Dan Hendricks runs back like she did last year then she is the most probable winner in the Redondo Beach feature race today. She has been training solid. Lilly Fa Pootz ran into a budding star Dubawa Heights in the Wilshire. Talktoomuch race a dull race without any apparent excuses I can see. She looks to bounce back.

                1. Tanda
                2. First Settler
                3. Andina

RACE 9

A five furlongs state bred two year old maiden special weight race.

1. Wise Guise....great post and Tyler Baze rides is his main asset. Good win early pedigree.

2. Trail Spin...... David Flores rides.... look out here

3. Dutch Lake.....trained by Solis who knows how to send them fit and ready to win.

4. Change Order....  Sutherland is up

5. Troy Story...... interesting trainer and jockey combo..... hot together and very live.

6. Rousing Sermon.....great connection with Rosario and Hollendorfer.

7. Gifted Monarch...... works are very solid. He looks live first time out....

8. Huntville.....needs a clean start.... well bet in debut... tab for a big performance. A son of Unusal Heat plus the fact that Gomez stays put on him.

9. Nolaruninfor Jayci..... low precentage trainer and jockey combo. Good pedigree....

10. Swiss Guard adds the blinkers for his second start of her career.

             1. Dutch Lake
             2. Huntville
             3. Trail Spin
