SATURDAY HOLLYWOOD PARK

                 SATURDAY ANALYSIS

RACE 1

A short field in this allowance sprint turf race. Kilkenny trained by Jerry Hoffendorfer makes his US debut. His has three love six furlongs works which is solid for the deadly trainer and jockey combo of Jerry and Joel. The horse to fear is Mensa Heat who loves this race course at Hollywood Park. He will be a short price in the opener. Caught A Flyer has out-run his odds. He has speed and has faced talented horses in the past. Beware of Flyer as he is fit and ready...

               1. Mensa Heat
               2. Caught A Flyer
               3. Kilkenny

$20 place on 5

RACE 2

The speed on paper is Queenofcalifornia and Lily's Tiz. She shortens up to five furlongs and takes off the blinkers. Delilah Jones showed speed in her debut before fading to fifth. Tab the switch in jockeys to Patrick V. Our Lady Gaga got beat by Rags For Ben in her last race. Rags came back two days ago and got a respectable second to the favorite. She fits for a fly-by. Both of the Cee Tizzy fillies looks live......... Lily's Tiz and the first time starter Princess Tizzy. It is hard to trust any in this modest race but.........

         1. QueenofCalifornia
         2. Our Lady Gaga

RACE 3

Cactus Flyer has to need her last start for trainer Sadler. She has a hint of back-class couplied with speed makes her a deadly connection. Come Catch her is the name of her tune. Real Housewife we have not seen since Del Mar. Joel re-rides her for her comebacker. Bill Spawr works them slow so do not worry. She looks to roll here. Entabeni had a bad start and she hopped from the gate. John Sadler trains both horses in this race.... only one can win but both look very live.

            1. Real Housewife
            2. Cactus Flyer
            3. Entabeni

$20 Across the Board on Real Housewife

RACE 4

A five furlong sprint 20 G maiden race. On paper this is a weak race...Random Luck has been freshened up returning with a bullet work-out. If she runs back to her debut she warrants major respect to win this. Wakeuplittlesusie has a race under her belt. The red-hot David Flores re-rides her. I expect she is better then what her first race indicates. Junes Blue Moon adds the blinkers for the first time. She has speed and with the equipment change she might just try to steal this race. The first time starter has modest drills but get Patrick to ride....A positive sign. Jenny's Turn broke slow in her debut. She should move forward but she needs to clear from the rail to have a major impact here.

           1. Junes Blue Moon
           2. Randow Luck
           3. Wakeuplittlesusie

RACE 5

Kahlula Mist is seeking the hat trick. She has been freshened up for this low rent district bottom dweller race. She is the one to beat. Moon Stone Madness has speed therefore in this race she warrant respect. Frequent Fame claimed for 16 G's drops down in class. Not a good signal but she does like the cushion track. Kami D B C trained by Marty Jones had to need her last start after coming off two year lay-off. She has run races with restricted maiden special weight races that puts her in the mix. Jones's horse usually run big time second time out. She can upset this field if she can get pass Kahlula Mist. She broke her maiden on this track.... I like her!

             1. Kahlula Mist
             2. Kami D B C

$20 Place on Kami D B C

RACE 6

Blazing Along ran into Rumor in her last start sprinting last year at Santa Anita. She is stretching out to two turns. Bob Baffert has two fillies in this field. Awesomemundo is bred for distance. She goes today sprint to route after breaking slowly in her first career race. Hedi Maria adds the blinkers. She has faced some talented fillies ..... Lovetheway Youare and Pink L to name a few. A daughter of Rockport Harbour looms large for a big performance today. Working At Night a daughter of Tiznow warrants respect in this wide open maiden route race. I love the pedigree on Sky Flying Ellen ...a daughter of Pulpit.... do not sell her short in this wide open maiden route race.

             1. Hedi Maria
             2. Blazing Along/ Awesomemundo
             2. Working At Night

RACE 7

A N1X turf route race for three year olds. Cloud Man did not look good warming up on the track in his last race. He was fractuious at the gate. He got second at this condition last month. A talented horse beat him in Boxues D Rues. He has been very game in all of his three starts. The colt to beat here. Great Warrior gets the garden spot from the rail. He will be closing with a above average turn of foot. Offlee Wild Boys drops in class. He has speed.  I expect Tyler will sent him to the front-end. Every Ego is the upsetter here. He stretches out in distance after facing much better company in his last race. Tab the switch to Joel Rosario.

             1. Cloud Man
             2. Every Ego
             3. Great Warrior

RACE 8              HOLLYWOOD OAKS

1. Love Theway Youare..... fourth in the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan stakes debut last month. She does have a win over this track two-back... a plus!

2. Wallstreeter....gets the acid test in class. A daughter of Street Cry.....she switches surfaces... the cushion track

3. Plum Pretty.....got sick this week for trainer Bob Baffert. She smoked a stakes race at Sunalnd Park by 25 lengths the shipped to Churchill Downs for a awesome stretch run to win the Kentucky Oaks. The filly to fear.....

4. Zazu

She beat Pretty Plum in the Santa Ynez and the Las Virgenes stakes last winter at Santa Anita. She got beat in the Oaks after a somewhat weird trip for trainer John Sadler. She can turn the tables on this field if the pace is not slowed-down to a crawl.  It might depend on what Big Tiz does in setting the pace.

5. Big Tiz

Rumor was going to be in this race. She would be the rabbit but this might be Big Tiz's role in setting a slow relaxing pace.... if uncontested then she has a shot to take all the marbles. She was second in the Railbird Stakes over seven furlongs on May 21st. Patrick gets the outside so he can see what the other rider's strategy is....does he sent her or wait... I expect he will send her to the front-end. She has a race over this track which is a big time advantage.

         1. Pretty Plum
         2. Big Tiz
         3. Zazu

RACE 9

This is a very live wide open maiden turf race. Kingpin Ryno stretches out to two turns...and might use his speed to clear from the outside post. Tribal Desert had a horrible trip last time out as he was blocked wide in traffic. Sun's Out is stretching out in distance. He is bred to go long. He looks spotted for action as the most likely favorite in this race. Besame Suances is the horse I picked on top in his last race. He needed that race as this five year old maiden was coming back after nearly a year lay-off. He is a sweet 20 to 1 morning line. Red hot David Flore re-rides.

        1. Sun's Out
        2. Besames Suances
        3. Dontshootthedeputy
