RACE 1

The speed looks to be Valkyrie Missile. A short field of five makes him to one to catch. He drops in class from the red-hot barn of Mike Puype. Mayor Marv has the highest speed figure in this race. He should sit behind Missile and if he melts down then Mayor Marv will kick clear down the stretch. Remus takes a class hike which is a good sign. He will be closing at the wire. Cardiff Gaint is deadly at this level who might be placed too low here. He warrants respect with a hint of a good value bet... do not sell short. I like him. Summers At Del Mar has not raced in four months. He is stringing together some solid drills. On class he fits in this wide open sprint claimers.... by no means is this race a two horse race.....

RACE 2

A N2X filly and mare sprint race with Excellent News and Lady Sweetness the likely favorites. Excellent News gets off the turf after a somewhat troubled trip in her last turf race.  She likes this surface at Hollywood where she is 2 for 4.  Mitchell enters Lady Sweetness who won her first level allowance race at Santa Anita. She has tactical speed with Excellent News drawn to her outside. Fashion Trend is a talented filly. I have her on my watch list as she is coming back fron a five month lay-off. She can win this race. Dollase had strung together some nice long morning drills.

RACE 3


On paper this race is filled with one-dimensional speed types. Lady Laszer will be out winging. She shortens up in distance as Joel rides for Peter Miller. Rockin Heather has speed couplied with the fact that she has back-class. She takes a big drop in class to face this field. She had to need her last start as her first start since Del Mar. She warrants respect on the win end. On paper the race sets up for a horse closing...... Cactus Jane and Katty's Kitty fits this bill. Cactus Jane trained by the come back kid Mike Puype looks to fire fresh right from the start.

RACE 4

A modest field of 20 G maiden's sprinting on the cushion track.
Cabo San Lucas is speed along with What A Goldmine. Covert Reward might be the fastest of the speed types. Best Logic drops in class with a perfect trip will put him in the winner's circle. Memphis Mobster trained by a cagey old trainer has been off for more then one year. Check out his work tab. Beware.... A wide affair here b/c Free From My Ex fits with these.

A weird race and difficult to trust anyone sprinting for 12 G's.

            3. Cato Major..... always gets a piece
