Thursday at Hollywood Park

                            HOLLYWOOD PARK

MISREMEMBERED BY DAVID MORANT

Race 1

A route race for fillies and mares for the claiming price of 12G's.  Zippin E a daughter of City Zip trained by Oscar Garcia comes back to Hollywood where she has has two wins out of three starts. She has speed coupled with the fact that she will press the pace from gate to wire. The last time she was on the cushion track with Talamo she won by 13 lengths. Jana Gail should track the speed. She drops in class for Hector Palma. Check out her last blow-out. She is a plodder but at this level she in in form and fit. Rollerskates looks to be Zippin E's main rival from off the pace.  She beat Zippin E three races back at Santa Anita.

              1. Rollerskates
              2. Zippin E
              3. Jana Gail

Race 2

I have seen this move too many times not to back Richard Mandella when he uses Rosario on a first time starter. Last time I saw a first time starter with this trainer and jockey combo the horse paid double figures. Favorable is has a 1:12 work.... looks like a live runner to me. Evita's Sister is a full sister to Evita Argentina a horse I have seen run at this circuit. Dangerous Angel trained by Vladimir Cerin uses Patrick as the blinkers go on for the first time. He should move forward big time in his third start.

           1. Dangerous Angel
           2.  Favorable
           3. Evita's Sister

Race 3

A maiden turf special weight route race fills this card. The same move by Richard Mandella but with Bejarano in the irons. The son of Empire Maker looks live. I have seen him win with first time starter routing before. So take note. Tippety Tap Tap looked good despite the bad post last time out finishing flying at the wire to get up for second.  He improved big time after being gelded in his last start. Bellingham is stretching out in distance. He should step up pressing the pace from gate to wire. The blue blood for turf is Coming thru a son of Dynaformer. He should move forward after his first start. He is kin to Eight Belle's. Beware~~``

           1. Bellingham
           2. Knucklebuster
           3. Tippety Tap Tap

Race 4

A quick sprint for non winners of two since 2011 for three year old fillies. The speed looks to be Seachi who drops in class after facing better company then these. The drop will only help after fading to a well beaten fourth in her last race. Rosario jumps off...so take note. Diamond Journey will be sent to the early lead with Seachi. Joel Rosario climbs aboard Banana Cream Pie. The race has a suspect look to it. Hard to trust these three year old fillies.

             1. Lady For A Day
             2. Seachi
             3. Banana Cream Pie

Race 5

A turf sprint for N1X has a look of a salty cast of characters.

1. Candy Pleasure....love the pedigree of Candy Ride. She had a somewhat trouble trip in her last start. She too is seekig her proper level.

2. Tenacious Tina....this filly is on my watch list...she has not run for two months...for Doug O'Neil. He should be warming up soon after being one for 32 with his stable.

3. Elle Special....a four year old filly by Giant's Causeway.... she is seeking who proper level. She ships in from back East as Eric Guillot hits at a clip of 20% with shippers...

4. Up In Time.... a import  from GB...who usually need a time before moving up in class. This is her third start in the states. She was carried wide thought out her last race coupled with being steadled. She had tons of trouble......She was only three lengths behind Bob Baffert's horse Rumor.

5. Pink Leninade...... was well bet in her debut. She is bred top to bottom for the turf. I was impressed by the way she won her first time.

6. English Royal..... a daughter of City Zip press a fast dualing pace last time out. She should love the sod. Speed and a cutback in distance makes her deadly for a win....

7. West Ruler..... will be a short price. She finished second behind Separate Forsest coupled with her third behind Ultra Blend and Lady Railrider.

             1. West Ruler
             2. English Royal
             3. Pink Leninade

$20 place and show English Royal

Race 6

A sprint for non winners of two for the claiming price of 25 G's. The pace scenario looks soft. Da Marshall with Classic Bobby looks to be the pace early. Ominous Thomas should be right behind the pace leaders. He finish second at this very level. Lockesley Hall claimed by Bill Morey should show good early speed. He broke in at the gate and pulled Martin Garcia around before fading to last. He cuts back in distance today.
Delux Bus broke his maiden at 30 G's. He was claimed by the red hot trainer Mike Mitchell.  He just might be more talented then what his past performances indicate. Bullybullybully had to need his last start after a year lay-off. Kristin Mullhall has strung three good looking works into him. Alot to like with Bully coupled with the fact that he drops out of starter allowance races to run here. The live longshot is Danny Q trained by Ted West. He has been off for two  year..... last week we saw a number of horses coming back off long lay offs and win~`` He has never faced this easy of a field before. His last three works are fast with a May second bullet for a blow out. I like him~~``

             1. Bullybullybully
             2. Delux Bus
             3. Classic Bobby

Race 7

A 52 G N1X allowance fits the feature race. A short list with few pretenders and each and every horse has a big shot to win this wide open feature~~~```

1. Woodmans Luck..... a three year old son of Pulpit ran a awesome race in the Snow Chief. He has ran his best races on the cushion track. He should love the cutback in distance. His last two morning works are fast. He looks fit and in form.

2. Excelling..... He ran like a different horse when Hollendofrer added the blinkers for the first time in his last race. He started his career as a speed horse but has learned how to rate off the pace. A good asset to learn.

3. Senator Bob.....Tab the switch in jockeys to Bejarano. He was claimed last time out for 25 G's. Both of his wins came on synthetic surfaces.

4. Spud Spivens...... I have followed this talented son of Tiz Now. He just broke his maiden and faces winners for the first time. He has the pedigree that warrants respect. A major contender.

5. On My Honor..... trained by Dan Hendricks who is deadly when he goes from sprint to route. He has the perfect style after his victory in the Nitra Maiden Stakes on April 23rd.

          1. Woodmans Luck
          2. On My Honor
          3. Spud Spivens

Race 8

A tricky distance of seven panels for maidens at a claiming price of 30 G's. Magic Spirit looks to be the lone speed. Tab the jockey change to Mike Smith for trainer Kathy Walsh. He gets the rail as last time. Cut N' Deal should like the longer distance. My Boy Luke and Lake Sawyer drop out of the same higher level race.

           1. My Boy Luke.....Rosario stays seals the deal
           2. Magic Spirit....speed deadly if left unchecked
           3. Magic Beam...... had troubled trip~~~```
           4. Magical Instinct.....might be the one to fear~`
