Saturday at Hollywood Park

         HOLLYWOOD LAKES AND FLOWERS'

Santa Anita was speed~~ Hollywood has been much agreeable to closers the first week of racing~~~

Race 1

Non winners of two for the claiming price of 16 G's. The speed looks to be Stormy Linda and Kiss My Swiss. Speed has not wired the cushion track during the first week at Hollywood. Led Advantage with Victor in the irons is as good as any in this field. Very Vintage teams up with Harrington and Rosario coupled with the fact that she drops in class makes her a instant contender. Morning Frost looks to have run into racing shape for trainer Hess and Talamo..... she warrant respect here!

    1.  Morning Frost..... hits the board~~~
    2.  Led Advantage... no win machine
    3.  Stormy Linda.....the one to beat
    4.  Very Vintage....deadly duo team~~~

Race 2

A two year old baby race at this distance of four and half furlongs fits the bill. Harrington sends out another Swiss Yodeler colt called Pend Oreille. He has solid workout tab. Smoke Glacken sire sends them out bred to win early and bred for speed. Smoking G trained by Peter Miller has Martin Garcia up in the irons. Wise Guise trained by Gary Sherlock gets Christian in the irons.... good works with solid pedigree. Check out the babies before unloading... The sire Pulpit has the short straw and draws the outside post.... Lucky And Tough has a win early speed sire. And a Candy Ride colt has the pedigree to win this race.... Super Candy......

Race 3

Bay Rush has the edge in experience over this field. He warrants respect! Incisive looks to move forward with a race under his belt. As for first time starters Sir Ed looks like a runner. Magic Spirit will try to pick up the horses turning for home. He needs clear sailing to win this.

    1. Sir Ed.....looks live
    2. Bay Rush.....is the horse to beat~~
    3. Magic Spirit.....gets the rail

Pick three  1,4,5,7 with  1,2,7 with 6,8,9        $36

UPDATE THREE 3 PAID  $86.40

Race 4

Farley Star exits a highly regarded allowance race at Santa Anita Park. Tab her right back. The speed is My Maloof Rocker who is returning after a lay-off. A One dimensational speed type on the lead who will try to steal this race. Lady Alex is climbing the class ladder.. A Major player if she can get to Farley Star. Siberian Heart looked awesome winning at 32 G's..... she is on the upswing so do not take lightly for Gary Stute and Talamo.

        1. Farley Star....makes it two in a row~`
        2. My Maloof Rocker...will take them as far as she can
        3. Rainbow Luck....might be a good claim for Miller

Race 5

A tough cast of contenders in this  N1X allowance race.

       1. Atticus Jack.....hits hard here
2.Circa'sgoldengear  .....loves the distance with speed
       2. Rauschenberg....gets back to the turf

Race 6                 Wide Open~~~~

       1.  Given Espisode....loves the Wood...drops for a tag~~
       2.  Brown Is Beige  ....needs to break cleanly
       2.  Nice Medel......nice looking win

Pick Four    1.4,5,7 with 2,3,4,5 with  6 with 6,7,9

Race 7

Bob Baffert's barn looks to have another talented colt by Vindication..... Saddleranch has some hot fast drills for his debut...Celtic Charmer a horse I have bet might be overlooked....He is a player if the FTS need a race. A son of Mizzen Mast Ultimate Eagle trained by Mike Pender has a blow out in his last morning work... All Systems look like a go~~~ Doug O'Neil has Just Imagine who has been sidelined since last summer.....this one looks very live to me... Good betting race with the pick three.

    1. Saddleranch
    2. Ultimate Eagle
    3. Just Imagine/ Celtic Charmer

Pick three  2,3,4,5 with 6 with 6,7,9

Race 8

1 Well Monied ......if fit and ready....scary
     2. Blue Maiden  ....expect a big race
     3. Vamo A Gulupiar.......X factor from Chile
     4. Smart Striking.....surprise package

Race 9

This race came up light on speed..... I like the horse that ships south for Peter Miller with Victor in the irons. A Lil Dumaani is my pick for the nightcap~~~~

    1. A Lil Dumaani.....adds the blinkers does the trick~~~
    2. My Man Sumo......might to be the horse to beat
    3. Standtall......hits hard at this level~~`~
