ALL RACES OFF THE TURF
I just put a like button at the top right side. If you think this blog is helpful to you Please hit my like button. I handicap the races with a fast track in mind so beware. Good Luck Today!
Race 1
Cat In The Forest drops in class for trainer Peter Miller. The pace scenario has easy factions with Cat In The Forest on the early lead. Come Catch Me! Stormin Proud Papa claimed by Dan Hendricks drops this dude. Courtside looked good beating up on maiden 32K at Del Mar last summer. Tiger Trysts should be reeling in The Cat down the lane.
1. Courtside 2. Cat In The Forest
Race 2
Forward Commitment might have finally found a weak group that he can beat today. No Mortal lock to say the very least. Clocker Moment stretches out in distance. Gomez climbs aboard as Victor goes to Forward Comitment. Brace For Impact is wheeled back in a week. He should be on the lead in this weak field of maidens. Warren's Wild Thing will pick up the pieces. He has a real shot to win. Swiss Emperor has the ground saving rail. He too has a shot to win. If I have to pick........... Forward Commitment with Clocker Moment might be my picks here..........
1. Forward Commitment 2. Clocker Moment 3. Warren's WT
Race 3
Steve Asmussen has a string of good looking maidens. Yesterday he sent out Maclean's Music and this one smoked the field. Brock a high priced prospect was well bet at Saratoga last summer. He has solid workouts and Bejarano takes the call. His main rival and the betting favorite I expect is Midnight Interlude. Rosario goes to Midnight Interlude instead of Grip Hands. Southern Sculptor with a race under the belt should move up to be a solid contender.
1. Midnight Interlude 2. Brock 3. Southern Sculptor
Race 4
Dahoud has the speed but can he handle the distance and rise in class to win this marathon stakes company. On dirt with little speed he moves forward to the top of my list. Haimish Hy has 3 wins over this track He should be the betting favorite. He has won on a syn. track at Del Mar before. Do not take this dude lightly at this distance. Juniper Pass takes off the blinkers. Bejarano takes the call. Imponente Purse looked like he was not focus in the San Luis Obispo. Falcon Rock looks off form. Buenos Dias could out-run his odds and win for Ron McAnally. The girl Restless Soul is taking on the guys. Taken Off The Turf. On dirt Junipers Pass moves up on my contender list.
1. Juniper Pass 2. Dahoud
Race 5
On past performance the Baffert Capital Account looks to be seeking the hat trick today. He has not run on dirt but after looking at his ultra fast morning works......... He looks spotted for a smasher! Irrefutable has speed but not as fast as Capital Account. Sea Rascal and Stacy's Hope will pick up the pieces.
1. Capital Account 2. Irrefutable 3. Sea Rascal/Stacy's Hope
Get My Fix if speed melts down!
Race 6
The speed of this race looks to be River's Mambo. She was 10 and half clear of the third place horse. If she can put back to back races together she is the one to fear. If Sutherland understands the pace of this race she has a horse with speed and on a muddy track She'sawontontomato might just outrun her odds. She should send her to the lead.
1. River's Mambo
2. She'sawontontomatio
3. Lily Amore
Race 7
A modest field and a wide open race! Very Fair if he repeats his last race with Camp Victory is the horse to beat! Taken off the turf. Brady Blue Eyes has speed with racing on a dirt track. He is a player. Time For Atonement moves to the top of my list because the race is taken off the turf. Roman Guitar moves to the to one of the contenders as well. Maybe the lone speed with P-Val going gate to wire at 20 to 1. On a muddy track Fog Alert with the pedigree and closing kick should love the wet surface.
1. Fog Alert 2. Very Fair 3. Roman Guitar
Late P3
7th Fog Alert with Very Fair
8th single of best girl on the West Coast Mildly Offensive
8th play Society at Large with Matamor
Race 8
Mildly Offensive looked super in her career debut race. The horse that got second in her debut came back and won. I like this budding star....... Tab for a smasher!
1. Mildly Offensive 2. California Nectar 3.Hout Bay
Dawnie Macho is one to catch!
Race 9
After looking at this modest field of runners I would like to take the first time starter Blind Magic but his works look very average for a cagey trainer that can have them ready to fire. The pedigree is a win early pedigree and I like the trainer but as I said .....the works are modest. Society At Large had a troubled trip his last race. Prior to his last race he has shown speed........... in a race void of any pure speed. I will take a shot with Society At Large on the outside post position.
1. Society At Large 2. Matamor 3. Cut N Deal
Longshot Blind Magic
