SUNDAY SANTA ANITA PARK

PREMIUM PEGAGUS BY MORANT

                          SANTA ANITA PARK

Bank For Santa Anita is $2,378.00

Race 1

A first glance at this 16K claming route race every horse has a shot to win. Capture The Call is the speed of this race. This pace looks uncontested. He has a chance to steal this race. My Man Sumo shortens up in distance. He should be right off of Capture The Call turning for home. Skellytown is the main rival down the lane. He just win races. Joe Carl was claimed in his last race by Hendricks and Joe Rosario who has 4 wins on this dude shows up. Streets Of Heaven trained by Ted West stretches outs in distance and jumps up in class.  Warren's Summergold is spotted for action......Like I have said this race is a scramble.......

    1. Warren's Summergold  2. Capture The Call 3.Skellytown

   - $18

Race 2

Lauren C a horse I picked to win her last race closed on the field to get up for a win. Can she put together back to back wins? The jury is out! I like Warren's Rose coming back off a short lay-off. She has been training solid for Doug O'Neil with Martin Pedroza taking the call. Cato Major will get some of the betting money with Joe Rosario re-riding her. She drops slightly and is a closer down the lane. Warren's Rose with Justincredible might be the speed of this race.

     1. Warren's Rose   2. Cato Major  3. Justincredible

Longshot You Can Dream check out workouts!!

- $16

Race 3

Shred The Secrets is the fastest horse in this field. He switches surface to the turf and tries a new distance. He just might steal this race. If he melts down then I like the horse on the rail Woodman's Luck who can flat out close down the lane. Gab Power is dropping in class and the horse to fear!

    1. Shred The Secrets  2. Woodman's Luck  3. Gab Power

Race 4

Stormy Linda exits a highly regarded race that produced two winners that came out of that race. She has been off for 4 months but she runs fresh and most likely be the favorite at post time. Givemeonereason gets back to a distance that gives him a good chance to win this race. He looms large as the over-looked contender. O She O has the highest speed number. She is a major contender. Dresstothenines looks live first time out! She can win if she clears from the rail.

  1 Stormy Linda 2. Givemeonereason 3.O She O

 -$24.00

"Pick Six  7 with 1,6 with 7 with 2,3 with 2 with 6"

Race 5

On paper Lirt Our Luck looks spotted for action if and I say if she handles the turf. The speed might be a horse that will be over-looked by the public Seachi trained by Kathy Walsh with Victor Espinoza who lost the whip down the lane on dirt. She was claimed by Walsh 2 races back. I expect a big performance from her in this down the hill turf sprint.

     1. Lift Our Luck   2. Seachi 3. Forty Paces

Race 6

Crispy Corey a sprinter.... stretches... out to a mile distance. A Moment In Time with Crispy Corey should be the horses on the lead. Queen's Rite trained by Cliffors Sise usually fires there best race second time out. Gomez re-rides...so Beware! She will be reeling in the speed fillies down the lane. Cantona is no throw out with this group of contenders. She has the right racing style with the speed numbers to make her a contender.

   1. Queen's Rite  2. Crispy Corey  3. Cantona

Pick Four
6th    2,5,7
7th   2,3,9,10
8th     2,3
9th      6

Cost $12.00

UPDATE PICK FOUR PAID $820.00

Race 7

A tough cast of salty character in this route race at a mile. Coo Cachoo is the uncontested front speed in this race. His main drawback is the outside post position. "Come Catch Me If You Can." is the name of that tune. If he burns himself up on the front end then In The Paint might reel this dude in. Preamble exits a key maiden race for Richard Mandella. He looks to be a talented horse which stretches out in distance. Hot Damon gets off the turf  running with much better company like Quick Enough. He adds blinkers and might be the horse to fear down at the wire. My pick is another bomb the leading money earner of this race Tamborin trained by David Hoffmans. He needed his last race and a hungry rider climbs aboard John K.

    1. Coo Cachoo   2. Tamborin  3.  Hot Damon/Preamble

Use Tamborin in my Pick Three's and Four and the other picks as well.

Race 8     CHINA DOLL

I love the way Cambina made that move on turf last to first in the Grade 3 La Habra stakes race down the hill. She has the pedigree to go long. The class of this race is Singapore Lilly who is trained by one of the trainers that gets these European imports to fire first time out for her debut. Cathy's Crunches just wins races. She has hit the board in all of her nine starts. She is a player with her speed number going up. Do not take her lightly! Up In Time is a interesting import and looks who shows up Joel Rosario.... how many time have we seen this move be a winning move before. Wallstreeter is training solid for her comback.

    1. Cambina  2. Singapore Lilly  3. Cathy's Crunches

    Longshot Up In Time

Race 9

Tequilla Blues has shown speed and I am sticking with the Spanish theme. He is coming back with solid morning drills and P-C will try to steal this race. I like him but the one to fear is The Full Lavino he has run races that makes him the horse to beat!

    1. Tequilla Blues   2. The Full Lavino

$20 across the board on Tequilla Blues

UPDATE  ROI $328.00

Have a great week....... and thanks for visiting my site.
