Notes from the Racing Underground

Saturday at Santa Anita a second time starter Dominus trained by Steven Asmussen owned by Stonestreet Stables put away Tokubetu down the stretch. He looks to be a talented horse on his way up. He should move thru the level entry allowance ranks. A horse to keep your eye on.

Worth Repeating I knew had the only true speed in the Tokyo City Cup. I was wrong when I thought Arcodoro could go with him. Souls Candy is a major classic hanger! Great race by Worth Repeating.

Worth Repeating by Morant

Church Camp won the Santa Lucas Stakes under Corey Nakatani trained by Brian Koriner owned by Legacy Ranch. He had a great trip saving ground and a fast turn of foot down the lane to the wire.

On Sunday in the 7th race Rumor scratch out....... of the race but Great Hot looked awesome winning. He is a budding talented star. I can't wait to see more of his races. We will keep this one on my watch list ............more to come with this A.C. Avila horse!

I hope this week we will see more turf races. No racing on Wednesday and I hope to see you Thursday at The Great Race Place.
