SUNDAY'S MALIBU STAKES AT SANTA ANITA

The official field for the Malibu Stakes will be drawn Wednesday at Santa Anita. It looks like 8 sophomores will be in the seven furlong race. Twirling Candy by Candy Ride and Nobles Promise by Cuvee.  Alcindor by Unbridled's Song is another name expected to run. John Sadler will also send out Don Tito who exits a third place stakes debut on Breeder's Cup Friday at Churchill Downs. Caracortado by Cat Dreams will return to competition for trainer Michael Machowsky. He looked awesome winning the turf allowance race at Hollywood. He looks like he is back on the beam.
