Last weekend at Hollywood Park in the Native Diver the speed of the race wired the field as Aggie Engineer won his first graded stakes race. The talented horse was ridden by Joe Talamo under the silks of Williford and Paddy Gallagher.
The improving talented three year old star Washington Bridge flew home to beat older rivals in the Bayakoa Grade 2 H. Trained by Jerry Hollendorfer Washington Bridge looked awesome getting three straight wins under jockey Rafael Bejarano.
The $250,000 Hollywood Starlet S. (G1) is the main draw this weekend at Hollywood.
Reading resumes Thursday at Hollywood Park. A shoutout for the switch in surfaces at Santa Anita........ maybe with this surface California racing will improve with more horses and trainers coming back to Santa Anita.
See you on Thursday!
