MINUTESANDTOUCHES takes one of the biggest drops in racing from maiden special weigtht to maiden. He showed speed on turf and shortening up he should be right off the speed with the early leaders. Another first time starter and the public will overlook is Run Mark Run. Any gelding by Benchmark is a must to include because of the pedigree that wins early aand is bred for pure speed. Air Union was well bet in his debut and takes aa drop from maiden to the claming ranks.Bob Baffert trains and my concern is that his man jumps off. But having said this check out his long six furlong drill at Hollywood.

The pace scenario looks like the Candy Ride colt with P-Val riding Miles Long Gone will be sent to the lead with Call Me Later and Minutesand Touches trying to reel in Miles Long Gone. Thr two X-Factor is the first time starters.

A wide open great betting race and a good race to start the pick three.Honey Prize looked great in her debut getting a solid third. An slight improvement and she just might take her picture at the winner' circle. . TERODA  finishened third behind the promising Turbulent Descent.With a race under her belt she ran like a filly that needed the race. STAR PRESENCE drops back to a sprint after two near-misses in routes. She has been running against good compay A daughter of Forest Wildcat, she might be better at this shorter distance RICKETRACKETYRUSS also goes route to sprint and will roll late  The horse that I like is Logical Habit who just walked out of the gate finished out strongly and full of run. He loks live with any slight improvement

FIFTH RACE 1-RUSSIAN RIVER 2-AMERICAS DREAMING 3-KAYCE ACE

RUSSIAN RIVER holds all the aces in this optional claimer. The Florida bred broke his maiden in game fashion on Del Mar's Polytrack, then was a strong second to Arte Viva in an allowance race at Oak Tree. The 4-year-old is sitting on a victory for Mike Mitchell. AMERICAS DREAMING is not very reliable but when he feels like running, he's dangerous. He ran well on Cushion Track on the Fourth of July and was a close second next time out at Del Mar, but finished almost three lengths back of RUSSIAN RIVER in his last outing.KAYCE ACE showed the way in a Keeneland route before tiring to third. He returns to Hollywood Park,where he was right behind AMERICAS DREAMING at this distance lastsummer.

IRRIDESCENT RED cracked early in what looked like an easy spot at Fairplex. But that was a route, and IRRIDESCENT RED is a sprinter. Claimed for $25k two back, she drops to $12.5k (not a good sign). But if she runs her race, she can win. Not very creative. ROAD TO REASON drops one more notch to rock bottom (this is a
restricted N2L race) following a respectable runner-up finish vs. slightly better. Two starts on this main track produced two second-place finishes. TOP SEEDED has changed barns since raced and returns in an easy claiming race first for her new trainer. Some of her races put her in the SAMMY CHOI never looked like a loser at any point in a romping victory for $25,000 October 24. Claimed
out of the race by Jack Carava, SAMMY CHOI steps up one level and should have no trouble winning right
back. The D'Wildcat colt should sit behind a wall of speed and pounce when Rosario asks the question.WINNING DESIRE was overmatched in the Jack Goodman Stakes at Oak Tree and was last all the way. His
previous second in the Afflerbaugh at Fairplex gives him a look in this spot. PROTECT THE RING set the pace for a half mile at Keeneland before retreating in the lane. He shortens up, puts blinkers on, and gets Bejarano today.
