Good Evening Racing Fans I'm still under the weather !
Race 1 One Mile Turf Allowance
Cool turf races tonight and the last Friday night racing this year at Hollywood. I'm not sold on Late Cuddle. She is moving up in class after a nice looking win a month ago. Her first win she looked like she was going to be something special but the classic bounce then Hollendorfer freshen her up and she won. The import will be well back tonight as she most likely will be the chalk. A contender yes! The only real only real speed in this race is Dance To My Tune but with a great pace scenario she is batting 0 for 13 on the turf. But check out her last race at Fairplex which was won by Briecat. Mike Smith takes the call. I like her in this race as a value bet in the place pools. West Hope set a blazing pace at Keeneland her last race and then gave it up in too deep of waters. Her connections has spotted her for action tonight! Spring Style has been running with the best Wasted Tears and the superstar Zenyatta. She has been facing allowance company and moreover she loves this track! This race looks to have a slow pace with a small field of runners!
1. Spring Style 2. Dance To My Tune 3. West Hope
$20 Place on Dance To My Tune ROI $ 40.00
Race 2 One Mile Sixteenth Maiden 25K
Look on paper Dave's Ruler is the most logical winner but has been a runner up and the favorite his last three races. The key tonight is the removing of the blinkers by Hess. This is one weak field! Beware might be the key here!
1. Dave's Ruler 2. Warren's Tommy Too 3. Mike The Dealer
Race 3 One Mile Sixteenth Optional Claimer
I sure love how Oilisblackgold won crushing his maiden's at Fairplex. I expect he might climb the class ladder tonight in this first level allowance race. Fog Alert with a race under his belt is trying two turns. I see no problem with the distance in fact his best races have been after one race after a lay off. He is a player with Joe Talamo re-riding him. Tweebster won his maiden on turf and switches surfaces to the cushion track tonight for Bob Baffert. A quick turn around with a blazing half mile work tells me that this son of Tapit who is starting to be the best sire in the country is spotted for action.! The X Factor horse is Pode Ir from Brazil. A.C. trains this 4 year old colt with some excellent works outs. If he takes to the climate or runs like he has been in the morning he is my pick to upset this field. Working Capital I love to see the hike up in class and he has back class with good speed numbers in this contentious field of unknowns! Great betting race!
1. Pode Ir 2. Oilisblackgold 3. Tweebster
Working Capital
Race 4 One Mile Turf Allowance 40K
I like the new face from down south Unico Lider making his debut for a cagey trainer who with Martin in the irons have in the past scored big! No speed except this unknown dude! My second choice looks live at this distance if Unico Lider melts down in the stretch!
1. Unico Lider 2. Imponente Purse
Race 5 Five Furlongs Maiden 32K
On paper Swiss Hero is my pick except with one first time starter in this field. Fuerte Royal is bred for speed and has a series of fast works......
1. Swiss Hero 2. Fuerte Royal 3. Cabo San Lucas
Race 6 One Mile Turf Claimer 40K
Watch out for Seattle Ruler with the blinkers going on tonight. She has never run at this low of level before. She is no win machine! Keen Bidder looks live at this level. She will be reeling in the rabbits late. I expect major improvement from High Success tonight.
1. Seattle Ruler 2. Keen Bidder 3. High Success
Race 7 Six Half Furlongs Claimer 16K
The most likely well bet horse tonight is Via Verde. I like Kim's Leading Man.
1. Via Verde 2. Kim's Leading Man 3. Plantsite
Race 8 Six Furlongs Turf Maiden Special
1. Backstreet Dancer 2.Stormy Slew 3. Nefarious
Live looking long shot is Candace Gold
