Race 1         Six Half Furlong Claimer (62K)

Pina claimed by Ron Ellis he might have lost Railman but this three year old looks like the speed of the race . Pina is no Railman but is one fine colt. "Catch me if you Can."  The more I look at this race the harder it becomes. At first reading I like the outside horse Ukandoit who is back with friends after a disappointing race routing on the turf in the Will Rogers. He switches to a surface that he likes and a distance that makes a major contender closing down the lane. Thomas Baines has been facing tougher and has tactical speed which makes him a player. Format V has a great closing kick and if the speed melts down I expect V to have a final say in the outcome today. A Player in a field where there is no real pretenders.......... If I play this race it will be a early pick three and I just might hit the all button......     Wow....... Thomas Baines looked like he jump in from the quarter pole to win!


Race 2         One Mile Optional Claimer
 I like Where's the Remote who exits a key maiden with Full Effect who came back and won and Lodi Red who switch to the turf and won. I know there are some tough dudes in this race with Call Me Honcho Detroit Danny and the likes of My Boy Walsh. I have a hunch and my hunches have not been hitting the first three days with the exception of Ninth Infantry yesterday. Where's the Remote is my Pick.




Race 3         One Mile Sixteenth Maiden Special
It looks to me that Laura Beasley might have just found a field she can beat. Carrie Rose will go as far as she can go on the lead. If not Laura Beasley then Favolso looks like she is sitting on a win from just off the pace. Beware!   The four year old's beating the 3 year old's. I was thinking when Tiz A Buds Girl would try the turf. Jax El by Unusual Heat out of a mare ......Siphon which I have always followed and loved.  Move over Gypsy should love the added distance.





Race 4         Six Half Maiden Special Weight
A lack luster group of Cal-Breds.......... I might place a small bet on James Cassidy horse Nicole's X which is bred for speed and has Mike Smith taking the call.

         She looks ok but I will pass this race!That sounds about
right.............LOL  I hope my readers are smart and bet her at 8 to 1




Race 5         Six Furlongs Maidens (25K)
A race of low level maidens........ Single Shot should be rolling late and has the edge and experience with these bottom feeders. I like two first time starters.......... Night Justice by Miller and the morning line is 8 to 1. The other first time starter is by a under rated trainer Jorge Periban. Obsess drops from a special weight race to the bottom feeders..... so take notice of this horse  Look out for Jerry Fanning horse that was well bet but had trouble at Oak Tree. David Flores takes the mount and Born to Waltz looks live to me!

Race 6          Osunited Stakes
A contentious  race in my opinion: I like Restless Soul to hit the board.....

Race 7          Five Half Furlong Maiden Special Weight

                    1.Just Imagine and The Phenom and Rock so Hard

Race 9          Six Furlong Claimer (12K)
A salty race on non winners of two and a great betting race for including in our late Pick three.... 
Let's do the Jay Totter selection here and start with the rail horse. The Women's Diva  started the year looking promising with a win her first time out. She looks like she is off form from her last two races. Great trainer and Jockey combo is her biggest asset! Pass....Others look better today. Fleet Royale has big speed numbers at this level. She might be the speed of the race and now drops in class to get a win. A major player big time and look who she has ran against Pink Diamond and Humble Maggie Go..... it looks to me that she is the one to beat if you can. So Hottie will be closing but she always seems to hang like a cheap suit and never seals the deal. Pass! JC General is a interesting sort and has run with better but seems to be off form. The caveat is that this is non winners of two. Gotham Spirit has tactical speed and has 5 seconds at this condition. I must include her but I can see her hanging like a cheap suit again. Church Avenue has won at Del Mar and has tactical speed. If she is fit and her last works indicate that she might just be live! Tammy Luck just loves Del Mar. Beware today she adds blinker's! Tuscan Moon drops in class and the deadly trainer and jockey combo of Sadler and Rosario team up.
       

After looking at the Ten Race I will take two horses in my pick three


                     1. Royale Afleet....... speed and just barely missed at this level two races back!   (8)  Tuscan Moon.... look at the work out on July 3rd.... and who jumps on indicates to me that this horse is live!



Race 10             One Mile Turf Claimer (50K)

 I like three horses in this race and they are all closers. This race scenario looks like a ton of speed on the lead and it just might set it up for these horses today........ (1) Eze Does It... adds blinkers and drops in for a tag the first time. (9) Fantastic Pick..... ran with older horses and ran with the likes of Macias and Hockley.... No Macias and Hockley in this race....... and lastly (Sufi Dancer) ..... a pure closer looking for the hat trick but must have some racing luck breaking from the outside post........ and then have some luck getting through the traffic jam down the lane.
