ANALYSIS:

Pioneer Of The West sired by Empire Maker out of the mare Forestry and trained by Mark Casse with Corey re-riding shortens up in distance.......He has tactical speed to press the pace or just stalk the speed before kicking it into gear when the real racing begins turning for home. A major player.

Jerry Hollendorfer holds a hot hand with both Cryus Alexander and Madiba running today. He takes off the hood and Bejarano who has ridden a number of maiden horses in this race.......picks this two year blue-blood who is kin to the 2010 Kentucky Derby Winner........and  as a year old cost over a million dollars. He finished in his debut going seven furlongs and strong third over the dirt.....He ran like he needed that race and needed more ground. He gets that today!

Madiba is the other Hollendorfer entry.......He has been a money burner the last two starts as the beaten favorite......He is a blue-bloos that cost 700 G's as a yearling.....His debut at this track was good.......He gets back to the poly track where he can stalk the speed and get to the rail quick before losing ground.......He will need to get good position early to win this race.....If he runs like he did in his debut he can win with Elvis riding!

Milton exits two key races......Dortmund and Lord Nelson.......both are talented keepers that we will see in the near future running in stake races.......The Dortmund races already has a winner coming out of that race.......

A tough talented maiden special weight race where pace coupled with the surface will make this race.
