ANALYSIS:



Fighting On claimed by Ron Ellis we need to give this one a very long look for the win.......He had trouble if you watch his last race.......Daily Racing Form does not tell us this........When Ellis claims a horse watch out.......even Talamo goes to other.....love the old pro jockey Delgadillo.........

U. S Citizen exits a key race where the two horses he beat came back and won........watch out if Fighting runs a sub par performance.


Jimmy Date a shipper from Golden gate...We know how well the shippers run over this surface. He won over this track while dropping into a tag for the first time...........gets Del Mar's leading trainer.

RACE 2

Maiden claiming at 20 G's at one mile for three year old's and up..........the cheapest maiden race at Del Mar. M A full field of 12 runners.....so take note!


ANALYSIS:


Powerful the son of Settle Slew drops in class  the biggest drop in handicapping as Jeff Mullins has given this over-rated horse time off.......I expect he is much better at this level.

Burning flew home after I re watch his race........jockey waited too long to win this race......He finished full of run after the wire......He should have won this maiden race but did not........What can I say the combo is Hollendorfer and Bejarano......He goes from the rail which on that day no one was winning when they had the rail.......today is not the case as he goes from inside to outside.

It is weird to have Bob Baffert having a ice cold meet at Del
Mar.........third start for Justa Splash.......third start after finishing second at this meet.

Cotton Valley is another contender.........He can win. But I still like Burning after watching his last race.

RACE 3

A starter allowance...first level sprinting on the poly-track!


ANALYSIS:

Pace will make this race as there are four entries that need the lead.......Los Bambinos.........He will get a fast pace to run at. Marquez claimed him by the red hot trainer Baltas.......as I said speed will help his chances to kick clear turning for home.......Besos won 16 G's claimers over this track.........

The fast pace should help the invader Forest Elf......He wins races as he won five times this year. He can run over dirt......turf....and of course the poly track.

RACE 4       Stake race Grade 3

A sprint for fillies and mares three year old's and up


ANALYSIS:

Reneesgotzip is making her 2014 debut.......Miller is white hot this year .......perfect three for three and this is unreal he is 6 for 6 over synthetic tracks.........Nakatani has ridden her before.

Any time I see the trainer Wesley Ward....one of the best trainers in the country.......he trains the millionaire Judy The Beauty.........I think she is the one to fear and the one to beat in this race....because she has been the winner of five races out of six starts over the synthetic........She is a millionaire and has won Grade 1 racing's highest level.

Is Madame Cactus good enough to win this race.......yes but she gets the acid test on class and will need her best performance in her lifetime.........She does like this track after two seconds........She might shock the top picks....She runs her best races coming off lay off's..........do not dismiss because the last time I saw her run was in Dec........and she is on my watch list and a up in coming talented horse that will be overlooked by the bettor's.

RACE 5

A high price allowance race on the turf going one mile and a eighth......


ANALYSIS

Ethnic Dance is much better on the turf then on dirt or the poly. She ran a better race then what it looks like on paper......I have this one on my watch list........he gets the dull rail and will need to clear early to have a chance to win this.

The old school trainer Eddie Truman trains Full Dancer.........who has both pure speed and tactical speed as well. He was beaten by a talented horse Super Abilty........Full Dancer ran like he was short that day......with a race under his belt I expect a better performance.

I might be betting with my heart but last year when I bet and won with Den's Legacy up north at Golden Gate I thought he might go ton the big show.......He did not have enough points to entry....He has a killer closing kick when he is right!

This might be the race where Bob Baffert gets a win with Den.........Victor is the new jockey....more importantly this is his third start after Jan........I will use Ethnic Dance on top with Den's Legacy then Sawyer's Hill...........

A California Bred maiden special weight sprint for three year old's and up.......running on the all weather track. (Colt's)

ANALYSIS:

I love the pedigree.......the owner's with the trainer the colt looks live a scary FTS.......Tiz All That........He is kin to Tizfultation.......one the the west coast top horses.......

Marty Jones sends out the FTS  Lucky Mark sired by the winner of the Kentucky Derby........so he is a pure blue blood as Jones and Talamo team up....nice works.

The colt with the experience is Zinvor...today he ads the blinkers after his second start he has trouble and I mean trouble three paths wide and it looked like he was in path six all around the back stretch.......then was steadlied and was taken out of the race........look Kent can do no harm......He is riding lights out at this meet........Adam Kitchingman does win the FTS's

Cardiac trained by Barry.......sired by Smart Strike who is bred to win fast and bred to be quick from the gates........works indicate that he is flying over the poly track. Moreover, the dam is out of Unusal Heat which we know loves this track.

A maiden open company special weight sprint for two year old fillies........all weather track!   Moreover, This is a full field of 12 runners!     (Fillies)


ANALYSIS:


Street Serenade..........breeders bred Tizflutation.........excellent breeding barn. Robertino Diodoro has Zen liked attitude to spot his horses where they have a chance to win.......excellent pedigree a son of Street Cry out of the mare Deputy Minister.........very strong pedigree at this low of a level. He ran solid with his first race over the poly track.

Partyin trained by Jeff Bonde showed speed in her debut......should be cranked up second time around.

Penny N Mitzel a FTS by Jeff Mullins worked six furlongs which I love to see since this maiden is running shorter a short dash at five and half furlongs.

RACE 8     SOLANA BEACH FEATURE (CAL BRED)

The condition is for fillies and mare three year old and upward. This is a Non Grade Stake race.


ANALYSIS:

Kathleen Rose in her last race finished second and beat the third place horse who came back ans won a graded stake race on the turf last weekend.......She found her home and that is the turf......The scary filly that on paper is the one to beat!

Ed Morger has taken a short vacation with Qiaona.......She is much better and has the breeding to go around two turns.......She has a ton of back class when she was young.......I expect you can draw or throw out her last three spring races......She needed time off as her 2014 races where tough taking a toll on fitnesss.........She is back after coming in fresh.......She has a perfect stalking style and a excellent turn of foot........

RACE 9

A route claiming race for 12 G's going around two turns. One Mile for three year old's and upward.


ANALYSIS:


Street Serenade is well spotted in this cheap claiming race........He cuts back in distance........should be near the lead the take and pass the other cheap speed.....Gyder re-rides him and he known what to do with Street today...just win baby at good odds. 


Coastal Breeze had speed then back up like he needed a race under his belt.......He did not look relaxed during pre race warm up......I expect he will chill and give his all........watch out!

Crusher the favorite is the horse I hope to beat....Let's do it!

RACE 10

Jennakins looks like she ran a better race then what appears on paper. She was three wide then had traffic problems......Tab the switch to Bejarano a upgrade.........She has speed and her last race the jockey fought her most of the race.....He should have her run her own race and not fight her down the back-stretch.

Mom's Winner daughter of Indian Charlie starts her fifth race where she has two seconds a third and a fourth......Talamo rides for his father in law........nice works at the beach.....if she can save ground from the outside post she looks scary for the winner's circle.

A FTS  Flowinwiththebreez is the daughter of Awesome Again who's babies take to the poly track......works ok and check out her during pre race warm up.......Check the tote board for more clues.....
