A filly and mare state bred fillies and mares three year olds and up..........A maiden special weight open.


ANALYSIS'S

On past performances........both Wandering Heart and Kiss My Face look to be the betting favorites. A small field of five fillies and mares offer no value win bets if both the favorites win.

Wandering Heart.......a six year old which took her a long time to get to the races has hit the board in all of her three races......She should have won in her last race but ran like Silky Sullivan making up 15 lengths to finish second on the turf going very wide around the track........Today she switches surfaces to the dirt and this is her third start in this month.......It looks like it is her race to win or lose.

Kiss My Face raced with Wandering Heart but was beaten after pressing fast factions......That was her second start and her workouts look scary.......April 26th she posted a bullet blowout 46.2.......the best out of 63 horses running that distance.

The maiden bottom level for fillies and mares at the distance of seven furlongs!



ANALYSIS'S

Blind Dreams was claimed by Pender in her race none days ago........She has raced three times and she has been claimed two times out of her third start. She has speed in a race void of speed.......I expect she will be the betting favorite in this modest field!

I expect the pace might be Blind Dreams and Bernier pressing the front end early. Bernier has switched stables and go to Dan Azcarate. She looks quicker then Blind Dreams..........so catch her to win this race.

The pace sets up for Coded Dreams as she adds the hood for trainer David Hoffmans..........good win early pedigree and I think she will be right behind the speed........Seven furlongs is a tricky distance to go gate to wire with two pace setters. Her last race is was in post 12........I expect if she had a better post she would have a better finish.......Good speed number which are are respectable.......she drops in class adds the blinkers and gets Martin Pedroza to re-ride her.........I like her but this might be a race to watch and bot bet!

I bet Charlotte R in her last race which she was taken out of the race at the sound of the starting bell.......She dwell at the gate.......She switches to the bug boy and gets a weight break.........Her trainer has been red hot at this meet this year! I'am going to give her a second chance as she drops the class.........there will be betting value if she wins.

RACE 3    FOUR AND A HALF STATE RESTRICTED MAIDEN 2 YR. OLDS

The line up includes this race appraisal of two year old fillies!


1. Princess Pippa trained by Harrington was beaten by Esmeralda Belle in there debut's.......A contender


2. Some Caan Job sired by Smart Strike........Freeman has worked her nine times.......She should be cranked up with the pedigree that is bred for speed..........Beware!


3. Sheila's Angel trained by a old dude that knows how to get them ready.......Her dam has two winners.......do not just dismiss.......George Papa has strung five works in her and is known to work them slow....


4. Skye Diamonds......weird because Mike Machowsky trains them fast like Baffert does......Her works are slow but he is known not to have them cranked and ready first time out.........but it is your call.......pedigree is a turf pedigree but he has worked her six times since April 4th.......she is the first crop sire First Dude out of Extonated that is bred to have speed.........I can see her outrunning her odds as Joe Talamo takes the call!


5. Heartbreak Honey trained by trainer California Chrome Art Sherman......really like her five furlong gate work on May 9th.......tells me that she is fit!


6. Faith Pacer trained by Jeff Bonde.......sired by Lucky Pulpit out of the mare Meadowlake........who has produced 7 winners from 7 starters.....one was a stakes winner.......good connections bred by Mr. and Mrs. Williams......Remember California Chrome was sired by Lucky Pulpit........Fernando Perez has been on fire.............Beware because Jeff likes to get them ready and fit to win first time out.


7.    Esmeralda Belle finished a good second in her debut.......She was four lengths clear of the third place filly...........second time out........I expect she will be the favorite and the one to fear if she runs like she did in her debut!

8. Pulpit Rules trained by Steve Knapp who has been red hot at this track this yeae.........Sired by Lucky Pulpit who is the sire of California Chrome.........they win early.......Knapp is really good with babies...........Knapp has strung 8 works in her........His works are hard to judge because he does not work them fast like Baffert does.

The pace looks to have one speed horse.........Kill Shot who adds the hood for trainer Headly..........fast works but he always works them fast.......He looks like the one to catch........first time on turf as Mike Smith rides this dude.

Hawkedon I was impressed when he came back and won........the horse Incline Village who finish second came back and won........Bejarando re-rides him. He will be stalking the speed.........

Royal F J is a professional but I have bet him and he seems to get more seconds and thirds then win.......but still He is a Major Player as Caravan re claimed him.....

Mark Glatt claimed him.........Mistaken Identity and freshen him up.........He hikes him up in class which is a good sign.............A route to sprint angle and his speed numbers fit with this group..........He has both speed and tactical speed to show a good account of himself today....... like the morning odds off 8 to 1.........

Sofast a shipper that needed races under his belt.......His third start since 2013..........well bred........I like the long works Gary Mandella has drilled him in the morning........first time in for a tag............Let's bet him........red hot jockey and if his wheels has not come off........He has a shot to outrun his morning line of 8 to 1.

The toughest race of the day...........many unknowns........I always have liked the looks of Corinthian's Song.........this is his fourth start after two years off.........Victor Garcia is a under-rated trainer.........Bejarando re-rides Song.........I expect he is getting fitter in this race........He has been facing much better horses then what he faces today..........

On past performances Native Ride is making his 10th start.......He drops in class and his Beyer numbers outclass this modest field....He should be right behind the speed stalking then chillin then kicks the overdrive gear at the top of the lane when the real racing begins........If he runs a sub par race then there are others that can win high price turf maiden route race.

Broke The Mold bred by Harris Farms and trained by Gains has turf pedigree top to bottom........his turf debut I expect was a mere prep race.......He should be more on the muscle in his second race.

Bejarano rides Passinaflash which I have bet before with jockeys giving him horrible rides.......a three year old facing older gets the best post position he has had to date.......

Pyrotechnics trained by Donald Warren and is excellent in getting a lay off horse to fire fresh.........He is on my watch list and I have been waiting for some class relief.......Today He gets a modest field of maidens.........Joe Talamo rides and is Warren's main man when he thinks he has a live one.
