THURSDAY'S SPOT PLAYS

RACE 3      START OF THE PICK 6

Let's take the new face Eddie Would Go........sired by Surf Cat.......fast long furlong works which I like to see in a first time starter........

             1. Eddie Would Go
             2. Next Right
             3. Honey Fever

RACE 4

The lowest claiming level at this meet.......a 8 G sprint for fillies and mares!

ANALYSIS'

Hard to trust the bottom of the barrel fillies and mares.......your call here but I would take theses selections..........

                  1. Mahalo Princess
                  2. Queen Of The Hill
                  3. Monstro Ness

RACE 5

A starter allowance sprint for three year old and up on the dirt!

ANALYSIS'

Rocket Heat gelded then smoked maidens and exits a key maiden race where a number of horses came out of this race to win.........Claimed by Vann Belvoir for 30 G's..........can we say two in a row.....

Baltas trains Brother Soldier who is fast.......goes route to sprint and turf to dirt......I think today he will like the surface and the distance......

Bruce sends out Surfing Angel a lightly raced gelding who never runs a bad race......He was last seen in Dec........comes back fresh and ready to fire big time........

        1. Surfing Angel
        2. Brother Soldier   WON
        3. Rocket Heat

PICK 4

UPDATE  PAID $858.50

RACE 6

A seven furlong optional claiming race for 62 G open up to four year old and up!

ANALYSIS'

Wide open contentious second level allowance sprint........

ANALYSIS'

I like the shipper Lobo sends out.......Macro Access.......comes state side fresh with strong long furlongs morning works......like this four year old colt works...........

            1. Macro Access
            2. Five Palms          WON

            Long Shot Airfold

RACE 7

Down the hill turf state restricted optional claimer for 20 G's entry level ............is the feature race on today's card.

ANALYSIS'

Mark Glatt has two strong players in the race........Gouyen was impressive in her maiden win going down the hill. I was really taken back and watched her break her cherry.......She earned a good Beyer speed figure and I expect the speed monkeys will back her play.  She is making her second start after 10 months off.......I expect major tighter as Bejarano rides her.

The other Glatt filly is Little Bit Lucky as she adds the blinkers.......I like this one.......as the betting public will bet Gouyen as Bejarano rides.......Lucky has the right running style.....she can stalk the speed.......the pace looks very fast.........and Lucky can mow them down at the wire.

My upsetter is Warren's Jen Fizz.......Kent rides her and she has ton's of upside......tactical pure sprint speed......As a three year old she ran some quality races......She more mature at four......

           1. Little But Lucky
           2. Warren's Jen Fizz
           3. Gouyen

           Long Shot It's Aine    WON

RACE 8

A 50 G state bred five and half furlong maiden race ends Thursday's card!

ANALYSIS'

A Tommy Town filly that has a win early pedigree that looks live as a first time starter is She Hums five to one morning line.......Trainer Steve Miyada a northern California that is based now at this track has finally found a home and his stable is sneaky red hot.......that was not the case a-couple of years ago.....He was ice cold ....not now! Last week he won a maiden race with the same pedigree and odds of ten to one.!

The favorite Really A Princess has earned a check four out of her eight starts.......She gets a good outside post and has both pure sprint speed and tactical speed too! Jeff Bonde is hitting a 30% this year..........I'am trying to beat her in this race!

Owens is a trainer that gets them to fire first time out........Ticaboo bred by AAA Farms and Korey Owens the trainer  have been a hot owner and trainer combo together......The daughter of Rocky Bar should be much better second time around.......Beware!

The pedigree of of Swiss Yodeler is a California stand out.........do not dismiss this pedigree with the filly Saturday Yodeler........Mike Harrington trains her as she ran three races as a two year old......her last start was a Stakes race.........I like the fast long workout and of course I like the morning line of six to one!

            1. Swiss Yodeler
            2. She Hums      WON
            3. Ticaboo

The filly to beat is Really A Princess
