SATURDAY AT THE GREAT PLACE

RACE 1

One mile and a sixteenth at the claiming price of 32 G's. Take note that is is a small field..........pace looks to have Half Strike........in his come-back race he set a fast pace........third was a strong race against slower horses.........I expect this small field will need to catch him if no-one goes with him.

Timeless Indy has talent as Mark Glatt claimed him in his last race. Mark is 25% off the claim......remember there were other trainers that wanted him. He is no turf horse and that race was a mere prep for this one.....He was fourth to the Grade 3 Razorback winner Golden Lad two races back. In the Razorback Grade 3 race...the horse that got second came back and has won twice.....huge Beyer 107......That Beyer would win this race. The horse that got third finish third in the Donn Stakes.......do not dismiss this lightly race four year old.

Valley Cat ships in where he has won two out of three races on the dirt at this track......He has a stalking style where has has a above average turn of foot.

               1. Timeless Indy
               2.  Half Srike'
               3.  Valley Cat

.

RACE 2

A turf sprint down the hill a state restricted first level allowance race. Back To Bako ran a huge race after almost a year off........bred top to bottom for this surface.......the jockey switch is huge........bred by Harris Farms and trained by a under-rated trainer.

Watching how Boozer won his last race....this
move by Mark is a drop in class because he could have been claimed running for a tag.......He is perfect down the hill......if her does not do the classic bounce he is the one to fear for the win.

The X Factor that is bred to relish the turf is Bright Ocean. I love the way he pressed the pace then re-rally to get up just in time to win a maiden claimer.......do not dismiss this one as he has the pedigree and I expect that he will be over-looked by the bettor's.

            1.  Bright Ocean
            2.  Boozer.......the one to beat
            3.  Back To Bako

RACE 3

A route race that is filled with speed is this first level allowance race.

Sagebrush Queen is bred to get this distance......I was impressed with how she finish full of run.......it looked to me she could go around again......the only races that has been bad was when she ran on the turf........she runs on the dirt.......major player because she can press the pace or sit back waiting a chilling then kick it into over drive. She will get the acid test on class because Field Of Gold and Yahilwa drop down after running in Graded Stake races.......

The pace looks to have Onena Bugeisha and Melanistic pressing the early pace..... I expect Passionate Diva with another jockey change and dirt for the first time stalk the speed. Field of Gold is facing older's for the first time......She makes her debut for Jerry........she gets weight off and the first of the year she rallied back east to get third.....in a 100 grander at Aqueduct...She has bee training strong

Yahilwa was rank in her last Grade race......She will be closing late and will be over bet.......but she has a excellent turn of foot....and as I said...there is plenty of pace to run at.

                  1.   Field Of Gold
                  2    Yahilwa
                  3.    Stagebrush Queen

.

RACE 4

A claiming starter allowance on the turf going one mile for fillies and mare......a good betting race!

I was really impressed with how Our Little Hen ran......she pulled then was steadied and never folded.....She was game and her running style has both pure speed and tactical stalking speed.....Brice gets a good post on the outside and can quickly move down to the rail waiting to kick clear down at the wire......

          1. Our Little Hen
          2. Kerrilynn

RACE 5

A maiden 40 starter allowance going a flat mile on the dirt.

I was impressed with Ruff Proof flying late in her last race........It as a weird ride by the jockey to allow the speed to never look back and won.....Ruff Proff had the speed to go with her.... I like this change to Victor.........bred to get the mile......and improving each and every race..........

                1. Ruff Proff
                2  Mia's Storm
.

RACE 6

I like the breeding top to bottom on Powerful trained by Jeff who is excellent with come backers puts the blinkers on and get Lasix......This four yr. old gelding looks and acts in the morning to be the real deal.......He has ultra fast works couplied with his main man riding him is the gelding I like.

                 1. Powerful
                 2.  Big Gregg

RACE 7

A big talented maiden special weight sprinting on the main track........tough race!

Shakahari the beaten favorite at the beach last summer is sired by Indian Charlie.......gets weight off.......

Midnight Storm debut as strong and the  furlong will only help his changes.......good pedigree good connections makes this one scary......

Sooner Born trained by Jerry is sired by Yes's Its True...bred to be quick and bred to win early..........ultra fast bullets in tow makes this three year old the real deal.

              1. Midnight Storm
              2. Sooner Born
              3. Shakahaki

RACE 8

I was blown away how Enterprising on after not getting clear because of traffic problems.........lo odds is my concern.....

I will try to beat Enterprising with the shipper Flamboyant........looks like a keeper........bred a blue blood.......

             1. Flamboyant
             2. Enterprising
             3.  Excessive Kid

RACE 9

Richard Baltas sends out Glitter of Silver........been away a long time but as second best......lover the works and the pedigree.

             1.  Glitter Of Silver
             2.  Cinematic Cat
             3.  Gospel Music
