CLOSING WINTER MEET FOR SANTA ANITA PARK

RACE 1

The bottom maiden claiming dwellers at the tricky distance of seven furlongs on the dirt.

A suspect weak opener if Wine Country Wanda runs a sub-par seven furlong. She was second in March and moreover, she was eight lengths clear of the field.........Her morning line is 2/5.

I bet New Nature before she broke though the gate and therefore she was scratched. She has the right closing style to make her a contender. I like her so Bet to win and place......do a daily double with Cueno.......$20 DD.

Chasing Hope........one race does not make a career......She goes from outside to inside which I think is a major positive sign here. She is sired by Candy Ride.....who can run on any surface or distance....do not dismiss as Hoffman trains her.....He works them slow.....She has plenty of work...at eight to one she looks to be the best value bet in this race....

She's Flush a professional maiden has run speed numbers that can will this race........seven furlongs is perfect for running style

       1. New Nature   bet $20 across the board

Bet $20 Daily Double with Cuneo

RACE 2

Non winners of two sprinting for fillies and mares on the main track.

A wide open suspect untrustworthy of a race.......There are a few semi contenders.......like Sadler's filly Askingfor trouble.....She last ran at the beach but John is excellent with types that come back fresh. Her works are average but this is a average race.......

Mary Helen's Storm lost a heart-breaker in a race just like this. A six year old gelding gets added distance....moreover this trainer is a sneaky ass excellent trainer that can get them not to bounce after her comeback second.

Bejarano gets on Cuneo who drops in class.......anytime Bejarano rides for Michael Pender the horse is usually a very live one! She hated the turf but is bred for this dirt and I expect he can sends her or stalk then kick clear turning for home. She beat Lucky Cotton in her last race....Cotton came back last week and won........watch out for this one.

Lovemeister had been on my watch list then took a nose dive in current and past form. She has been layed off which he sorely needed. He is bred by Phone Trick who is fast and quick......Trick's babies win early. Bill on paper looks to have him ready to run a big performance at eight to one morning line. I like this profession under-rated jockey as he get all what he can get out of the horses he rides. Love beat seven horses out of a big field of ten in his last race........
