The book end of two baby races.......... the first and the last race on Thursday's card.....this is a short dash for maiden claimers for two year old. I really do not have enough information on the Bushwacker off springs yet........Western Showdown posted a nice half mile work under his belt......looks ready......Solis and Deleon have two entries in this modest field.....Get Even Girl....a filly gets Edwin and the rail....which has been a good post in these baby races. I think the son of Tribal Ruler....mother by Salt Lake looks very live.....Triunfo......Rafeal Deleon trains and owns this colt........

RACE 2

I bet One Firm Cat to beat The Whole Deal last week....He was short that day....I expect he will not be short today. I was really impressed with how Limited Response closed and drew away in his win......I bet picked and bet this one when he won.........Victor stays put.........follow this one up the class ladder........

RACE 3

A contentious route claimer........a restricted claimer. J And S Express exits good races.....I like this one.......gets weight off.....should like the added distance......good odds because most of the action will be on Brooklyn Rose......Julio claimed her.....before her win......Bejarano stays despite the hike up in class....She exits a key race with Rossi Reserve......

RACE 4



Malibu Love ran like she was short......beaten favorite......She now goes longer....gets the rail.......I expect Iggy will have her near the lead or on the lead......regress or move forward in a very weak field. Willetta is the horse to beat.....I like this one after viewing video.......

RACE 5

Gutierrez uses Bejarano when he has a sharp fit horse....that is the case with Warren's Flasher.....awesome first try on turf and the distance.....She was very impressive in her last race....She is lightly raced.....pulled away from the field.......Akissforarose....I have picked on my blog before...She has been racing over her head......this is a field she should be very competitive with.....She is a closer.......looks who rides her......indicates that she is ready to run a good race in this spot. Warren's Vendeda...has won going long......She is a contender......might be overlooked because of action will be with Warren's Flasher. Gilla Is A Bella looked good breaking maiden.

RACE 6

The speed looks to be Bas......She was the beaten favorite in her comeback race......finishing third....She ran short.....looked short that day......expect a better performance for trainer Doug O'Neil.......Spring Sarah comeback race she had trouble getting clear......when she did it was too late to get to the winner.....I expect with the added distance.....and racing luck she will fire her best performance in this race. Psalm 16 adds blinkers...good pedigree for distance.....nice ...nice works.....watch out!!

RACE 7

A good talented field in the feature....sprint turf race.....for three year old allowance fillies......Broken Sword bred for the turf.....good speed figures.......red hot connections...Zia ZiaZia smoked a field of maidens....looked strong in doing it.....bred for the turf....gets Smith to ride.....Bares Tripper I have bet before......She was well regarded as a two year old.....She runs good on the turf....she fires fresh.......expect she will run her best race off this lay off.......Malibu Honey will roll late.....She fits in this contentious turf sprint. Llandudno gets a good pace scenario.....plenty of speed to aim at.....She looked really strong in her debut despite being very wide losing ground on the outside......She won.....which was a hard trick to do going extremely wide. Tribal Gal looks to set the pace.....she beat a good field......looked awesome doing it.

RACE 8

The nightcap is a two year old Cal Bred filly dash......Harrington's Rose debut was strong...She nailed the speed got up for second....any improvement or step forward makes her a strong contender. Patty Wack adds the blinkers for her second start...she should improve.......Yodelmesomemagic was well bet in her debut......for Mike Harrington...Edwin stays put...rides her the second time around......
